Yesterday’s Ask Emmaline question brought an overwhelming response of new inquiries by brides-to-be! Today’s feature, for example, comes from bride-to-be, Bethany, who asks, “What does the ring bearer wear? Does he have to match the groomsmen? Where can I buy ring bearer suits?” We’re answering Bethany’s questions and inspiring you with eight ring bearer suits and outfits handmade by the lovely Beane & Company. The beautiful photos below are by the talented Katie Duda of ClaireAlyse Photography. Enjoy!
8 Ring Bearer Suits and Outfits
In response to Bethany’s question, the ring bearer should coordinate in style and formality with the groomsmen and the tone of your wedding. The ring bearer’s outfit is completely up to you and depends on his age. A six year old may be able to wear a tux, while a toddler would be more comfortable in an outfit (and I don’t think they even make teeny-tiny tuxes to rent in that size). You can also coordinate his look with the theme of your wedding: for example, a beach wedding might coordinate best with a pair of khakis (pants or shorts), a white button down shirt, and a bow-tie (or no tie at all) depending on what the groomsmen wear. Dressier look? At a formal wedding without a tux, he might wear black dress pants and a white button down shirt, tie, and sport coat.
