An Heirloom to Hold

While we adore flowers (the peony makes us weak in the knees), this heirloom jeweled bouquet is positively elegant.  Discovered at Noaki, this bouquet is created using your vision, wedding colors, and style – and can  include heirlooms of your loved ones (add your great-grandmother’s brooch):

That is SUCH a great idea… and well done too. Just enough sparkle so that it isn’t the least bit tacky. Love it!

I’m reading the blogs of a couple girls who are doing this…and it seems like it’s not just the fact that they last forever, but they’re having a blast putting them together too…going on the journey to find the brooches and everything. These are GREAT photo examples, BTW.

Incorporating items from the bride’s loved ones into one bouquet is a lovely idea! And looks like it’s a very DIY-able project too.

This is a great way to create a keepsake of your wedding that can be handed down to future generations.

I agree with Lizzie@Ten Thou Bride… The search for brooches and things of meaning would be the most fun part of this whole process!
