Bridesmaid Love: Vintage Spools + Ten Gorgeous Gifts!
Posted December 20, 2010 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 23 Comments
HAPPY MONDAY! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! My weekend was filled with tons of holiday prep as I mentioned on Sunday, and this week is bound to be full of fun getting ready for Christmas Eve on Friday. But, first, we have TONS of adorable handmade finds to share this week, and we’re kicking it off with handmade loveliness for your bridesmaids. After all, who else would go to tons of dress fittings, try on anything your little heart desires, and smile the entire time? Or, listen to your hour and a half conversation about linen colors, cake batter choices and whether to get a band or a DJ? Your bridesmaids, of course! Be nice to them, appreciate their help, and give them a gorgeous gift to say ‘Thanks’!
But first, if you’re newly engaged and just about to select your bridal party, consider asking with these vintage spools. Spotted at Choosing You, these spools unroll to reveal a custom hand-stamped message like “Will You Be My Bridesmaid”. So sweet! Can be customized to anything you wish… just ask! ♥

Next up, we hand-picked ten perfect presents for your bridesmaids in bright colors and patterns. Spoil them rotten with these handmade finds they will love to use again!

Which # is your favorite?
love,
-E.

What a great idea! Tucking the coffee card inside is perfect. I love those new eco-friendly coffee cups, too, to eliminate paper waste. Plus, they’re dishwasher safe. That, plus the cozy, and the card would make such a great gift! Thanks for sharing!

Gotta love those vintage spools! I fell in love with them via this DIY we featured… have you seen it? ;) Ha! Thanks for your comment, I love the pops of color, too. It’s dreary outside and I thought everyone could use a little burst of color. (Well, you’re in sunny socal, so you’re already covered, but you get the idea.)

The bib necklace was a unique find and we had to share it! It is such a statement piece and I agree with you on the personalization aspect. The bride can add a special adornment that has meaning, and in this way it becomes a treasured keepsake. Keep up the lovely work, Bree!
