Rock Candy Wedding Cake

Posted June 8, 2011 | 10 Comments

I used to love rock candy as a kid. As an adult, I still love it. There’s this sweet little old-fashioned candy shop in my town that offers rock candy sticks in apothecary jars. They even give you a brown candy bag to fill up your candy selections. (It’s seriously like a step back in time and I love it all.) When I spotted this rock candy wedding cake, I loved how it plays into nostalgia but with a fresh, modern vibe. You can dress it up in your favorite colors or go for a glam look with clear rock candies. What do you think? It’s definitely a fresh twist from the traditional icing options.
