Hello, loves! Happy Friday! Last weekend, we attended a bridal show (you can read about it here) and we brought dozens of handmade items along with us. A few of these items were by handmade artisan Wooden Hive and made quite the impression in our vintage wedding pavilion. We were happy to hear how many brides were gravitating towards this vintage look and it was amazing to hear how many wanted a set of custom forks, a cake server, and other vintage wedding silverware personalized for their own big day. Today we’re sharing a few of these vintage wedding silverware pieces with you to inspire your own look, whether your wedding will be chock-full of vintage finds or you’re looking to add a little shabby chic to your reception. Good morning, lovelies! I spotted this amazing tablescape and had to share it… immediately. This vintage inspired tablescape would be perfect for either a bridal shower or a wedding. I love the pop of lavender – both the color and the sprig placed on the plate – and the lace ties the vintage look together perfectly. The metal place ‘cards’ are my favorite touch, and since it would take plenty of bridehours to make 100+ metal place ‘cards’, I think this works best for the bride and groom’s seats. This entire vintage inspired tablescape is gorgeous and one of my favorites to date. Styled by The Stylish Soiree, captured by Love Life Studios and spotted via Style Me Pretty.

Hello, loves, and Happy Monday! We hope you had a great weekend. I (Emma here!) love Mondays in particular since we get to kick off a brand new week of handmade wedding inspiration and launch a new giveaway (details on that coming up next!) To kick off the brand new week, we’re talking about reusable wedding decorations. Instead of buying decorations to be thrown away after your wedding, consider reusable wedding decorations meant as keepsakes in your home. To show you what we mean – and provide plenty of inspiration! – we’ve compiled ten favorite new finds. Read on to see which decorations made the list + find how we recommend using ‘em. Enjoy!

If you’re planning a book themed wedding, this is the guest book alternative for you! We spotted this unique card catalog guest book at Cut the Cake Designs – and we love it! This vintage library card catalog drawer will remind you of simpler times (when you had to do a little work before finding the book). It’s a small size, which means it can fit in easily on nearly any display table at your wedding. Guests take a card, fill out a handwritten note, and ‘file’ it away for viewing later. If you request addresses on the cards, sending thank you notes will be a breeze – and you’ll always have addresses for holidays and birthdays after the big day. Read on for more…

Good morning + Happy Wednesday! We hope you grabbed a gigantic cup of coffee today (or tea) because we have quite the read for you today! This is one of those posts that inspired me (more than usual) while writing it, so I sincerely hope it does the same for you. (Be sure to pin it for re-reading later!) First things first… if you’re planning a wedding reception with assigned tables, you’ll need an escort card display. Escort cards inform your guests where they’ll be seated… so, rather than roam around from table to table to find their name, they’ll easily grab their card, a drink, and have time to mingle before sitting down for dinner. Escort cards may have been a bit basic in the past, but thanks to handmade artisans (+ photographers to capture their work!) escort cards are in a decor class all their own! Today, we are sharing twenty-five of the best escort card ideas to save you time, energy, and give you a much-needed jolt of inspiration to kick start your day. And, whether you’re planning a rustic, vintage, nautical, or otherwise themed wedding, we’ve got you covered. So, if you’re ready to be inspired… let’s begin!
