Hi, lovely brides-to-be! How was your Thanksgiving? We popped in earlier today to tell you about these awesome rustic wedding invitations with burlap and we’re back to share some more handmade wedding inspiration. But first, did you venture out to the malls or stores for Black Friday today? I’ll admit, last night I enjoyed so much delicious home-made food that I went home, watched tv with A, and fell asleep. This morning, though, we did make it out to do a little shopping. If you haven’t made up your mind yet about shopping this weekend, I encourage you to support Small Business Saturday tomorrow, 11/30, at your local small businesses. I know I’ll be checking them out, too, in-store and online. Small businesses could really use your support, especially at this time of year! Speaking of small business, here’s a sampling of a few newly added items in The Marketplace to inspire your wedding. We’ve found a clutch, a garter, a stunning hair accessory, whimsical garland, and more. Enjoy!

At Emmaline Bride, it’s no secret that we’re head over heels in love with handmade wedding ideas. Handmade weddings are more memorable, personalized, and include hand-picked ideas by the bride and groom. Why should the registry skip over the handmade love? Handmade wedding gifts are more likely to be enjoyed, treasured, and displayed in the couple’s love nest for years, longer than a blender, set of dish towels, or a coffee maker ever could (I’m already on my second coffee maker). Plus, each gift is crafted with two hands, love, and care, and each dollar supports the artisan directly.
Today, we’re showcasing ten hand-picked handmade wedding gifts to prove that handmade wedding gifts rank higher on the list of awesome than anything ever purchased at a store. We hope this post encourages you to consider these handmade wedding ideas – and more in The Marketplace (with over 15,000+ handmade wedding items and counting!) – for your big day + support the talents of artisans across the globe. Enjoy!

Soft satin ribbon + tons of sparkle caught our eye on this dress sash! We love how the rhinestones surround the ribbon so it doesn’t get lost in the same shade of your wedding dress.

Happy Weekend! We hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather! Today, we’re bringing you one easy way to add personalization to your handmade wedding: ribbon! Instead of traditional ribbon that simply ties in your color palette, consider stamped, personalized ribbon instead. Wrap your wedding invitations, programs, and favors with ribbon trim hand-stamped with your wedding date, names, theme (“The Perfect Pair”), initials, or anything else of which you can dream. By The Lonely Heart.
