Supplies
- 6″ glass vases (square looks best)
- lemons (real or fake)
- bouquets of artificial white hydrangeas and yellow roses
In lieu of hydrangeas and yellow roses, you may use any flower you wish – daisies would look pretty, too!
Simply add the lemons to your vase; add flowers. Cut the stems short; place in vase. And there you have it… an easy, ready-for-spring DIY lemon centerpiece you can craft in an afternoon. Lovely!
You can also use real lemons and cut to reveal the slices, like so:
This vase (above) was created by placing a smaller vase inside a larger one. Slice lemons, limes, or oranges and place between the two vases until you reach the top; then, fill the smaller vase with water and place in a bouquet. Voila!
Here’s another favorite which uses mason jars and sliced lemons:
Don’t forget to serve up freshly squeezed lemonade to guests! Yum! We spotted this mason jar lemonade via adelyn stone (from Brides.com) and we love the unique daisy cut mason jar lids.

Hi Hannah,
I’d prepare it the night before and keep refrigerated OR prepare the centerpieces the day-of, just to be safe!
Hope it helps!
