Hi, lovelies! Ah, Friday – we always love kicking off a Friday morning with a new Ask Emmaline question! This question was sent from Mia who wants to know where to buy biodegradable confetti for her wedding. She asks,
Hi Emmaline Bride! I want to do a ceremony send off at my wedding and toss something (confetti? petals?) but my venue said it has to be biodegradable confetti only. I checked stores but couldn’t find anything locally. Do you have any idea where to buy biodegradable confetti for weddings? Thanks so much!
Great question, Mia! Many venues are prohibiting tossing of confetti because it is a nuisance to clean up and terrible for the environment. However, you’re absolutely right — biodegradable confetti, which is eco friendly and breaks down on its own, is a new acceptable alternative to use for the wedding send off. Today we’ve found some options for biodegradable, eco-friendly confetti and petals you can toss that your venue will be more than happy to see. As always, it’s a good idea to show anything to your venue you’re planning to use, just in case they have any concerns. But any of these fit the bill of biodegradable, so you should be good to go! Let’s take a look…
