Doily Wreath DIY

If you’re looking for a fun DIY decoration idea for your wedding ceremony, reception, or bridal shower here’s a pretty one to try! We spotted this doily wreath DIY via Martha Stewart which describes step-by-step instructions on how to craft yours using a few basic crafting supplies. This DIY describes using something called Biedermeiermanschetten, a doily-like paper bouquet holders. However, we read a review from one bride who said she used regular doilies which didn’t get hot enough to burn the paper. (Always keep an eye on it just to be on the safe side.)

This looks so delicate!

And, since we’re gearing up for all things Halloween, we thought it might be fun to tweak it a bit and use spiderweb doilies instead of white ones. Perfect for your Halloween-themed wedding decor or upcoming party:

   Im in love with the doily wreath. I think it would be fabulous for a Christmas wedding because the doilies look somewhat like snowflakes. The lighting of the wreath is over the top and makes it even more elegant and interesting.
