As we begin to bid adieu to the summer wedding season and prepare for all things fall, we thought we’d be sure to include one of our favorite decor items for summer: paper medallions. If you’re getting ready for last-minute wedding decor, we recommend paper medallions in the summer colors and patterns below. If you’re gearing up for fall, we encourage you to incorporate a new palette into the picture: emphasize burnt oranges, browns, mustards, and deep reds to coordinate with your decor. Consider hanging paper medallions outside on tree branches for outdoor weddings, at your ceremony door, above your cake table or as garland on your head table. Use them as a backdrop at your ceremony or reception sites or make a DIY photo booth backdrop for a fun touch. Get creative and make your own – or enlist in the help of an artisan like a few of the talented ones below. Use the medallions to add a whimsical touch to your wedding decor at your cake table, candy buffet, head table, or as a backdrop at your reception or ceremony sites. This would also make a fun photo booth backdrop! Here’s a mini round-up featuring six colorful paper medallions:
