Birdcage Veils: Vintage Bridal Couture

Posted February 23, 2010 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 3 Comments

We absolutely adore birdcage veils, a modern twist on the traditional wedding veil.

Vintage (most popular in the 1940′s era) couture, and oh-so-chic, the “birdcage veil” is a short veil that frames the face, enclosing it like a cage.

Unveiled Bridal Designs creates the most beautiful birdcage veils we’ve ever seen. Plus, we love how they encourage complete customization for the veil of your dreams!

Here are a few of our favorites:

I love the black birdcage veil against the brunette hair… What a great way to keep the overall look ‘soft’.

I like them because they provide the traditional lok of a veil but at the same time allow you to show off your hair and makeup.
