Soap is one of the simple pleasures in life. When I was little, I would go grocery shopping with my mom and we’d buy household products for the week. One of those products was bar soap. When we got home, she’d unload the bags of groceries – and I wanted to help. She gave me the task of opening the bars of soap boxes and placing them around the bathrooms in the house. As a result, I looooove bar soap to this day. It reminds me of being a kid, opening up the boxes and getting to help. Nowadays, commercials push the notion of bar soap being so drying to your skin. I disagree – I LOVE bar soap. It’s so simple. Clean. And, smells ridiculously good – with no harsh dyes or chemical additives I cannot pronounce. Plus, I fly through a bottle of body wash, adding wayyy too much to the loofah.
