Hi, lovelies! Emma here. I know you’re more than aware that sending thank you cards is a must for your wedding and bridal shower. But what kind of thank you cards should you send? Custom thank you cards (which match your invitations) are a great way to coordinate your entire event, but you usually need to order them with your invitations (and they can be quite costly). That’s why you’ll love this easy DIY thank you card idea! it will save you time and money AND add that personalized touch we know you crave. All you need are a few easy-to-find supplies…
How to Make Thank You Cards
You’ll need four supplies:
o a personalized stamp (like these from Felicette
Or choose a personalized stamp:
o a high-quality ink stamp pad (like this — pick your favorite color)
o flat (blank) note cards (like these)
o thank you envelope seals / stickers (like these)
1. Stamp the top of each note card.
You’ll want to use a high-quality stamp ink pad, like this. Allow each card to dry.
2. Hand-write a special message on each note card.
This is the most important part of the thank you card! Write a thoughtful, hand-written message for each recipient, and be sincere. (Here are some thank you card tips to help!)
3. Address the thank you card; use a thank you sticker to seal the envelope.
Addressing the thank you cards will take some time, so feel free to marathon your favorite show on Netflix while you do this. And, save your hand an unnecessary hand-cramp by using a custom return address stamp (so you don’t have to write your address one hundred times). You can get a personalized return address stamp (also from Felicette).
That’s it! You’re done! And afterward, you’ll have a custom stamp (and if you buy in bulk, a TON of extra note cards) to create personalized stationery to send notes and cards for future events.
