“A Perfect Par”: How to Plan a Golf Themed Wedding

When you’re planning your wedding, there is no theme out of bounds. And, since you only get one shot, you may as well ace it! If your honey spends his weekend golfing, practicing his swing, watching the Golf Channel or perfecting his par (or, perhaps you both share a love of the game) then we have the perfect post for you. Today, we’re going to show you how to put a handmade touch on your golf themed wedding decor with unique hand-picked finds. First up, we found this adorable Save the Date for a pair of golfers (putt-putt or otherwise, of course):
This save the date is by Yellowbrick Graphics based in beautiful Alabama and features a golf card with your name, wedding date and “The Perfect Par” written across a golf score card. Adorable!
Next up is a guest book alternative…
… perfect fore-ever! This is a golf themed wedding guest book which doubles as a photo album. Handmade by Woodberry Designs.
Your wedding dessert bar can consist of perfectly fitting foods like a “bucket of balls” and “Sand traps”, or beverages like “iced tee” or “Water hazard”. So clever! Spotted via Hostess with the Mostess – (images above) + (sand trap image).
A golf wedding theme requires perfect cuff links, courtesy of Asgard Designs. I love the golf ball texture in these cuff links!
In lieu of a wedding cake, opt for wedding cupcakes with a golf theme! Spotted via A Turtle’s Lifetime.
We spotted this perfectly fitting golf themed wedding boutonniere via Forever Bouquet.
This brass money clip with golf clubs and golf bag is perfect for your groomsmen and is by Inspired Jewelry Designs.
These golf pencils are perfect for your guest book table! By Go Against The Grain.
Top off your groom’s cake with this golf themed wedding cake topper spotted at Anna Crafts.
Give your hubby a sentimental print for your love nest, like this one spotted at B and A Prints which reads, “I Love You Like You Love Playing Golf”.
And, don’t forget to steal a kiss or two on the golf course, too! Photography by Ben Q. Photography.
Oh, and driving off into the sunset in a golf cart is of course a must. :)
Have fun + happy planning!
