The Secret to Wrinkle Free (Wedding) Tablecloths

Hello, lovelies! We’re kicking off the morning with a question: what is the quickest way to ruin a beautiful wedding tablescape? Wrinkles! While most (reputable) rental companies arrive with wrinkle free tablecloths, the rental rate may seem out of reach for some couples. So, before you break out your DIY supplies to make your own – or order table linens online – make sure you read this secret to wrinkle free tablecloths and table runners. You’ll be glad you did!

1. First and foremost, wash + dry your tablecloth. Be sure to follow instructions properly for the type of material, and be careful with the clothes dryer. When in doubt, hang it out to dry. Iron and steam the tablecloth to remove all wrinkles and creases.

2. Gather up some old cardboard tubes, such as old wrapping paper rolls.

3. Fold the tablecloth lengthwise; roll the tablecloth around the cardboard tube. Tie with a loose ribbon.

4. Store linen rolls upright or place in a small suitcase or box.

When you’re ready for the wedding day, carefully unroll onto your wedding tables for perfect, wrinkle-free tablecloths. Use the same method for table runners (use an empty paper towel cardboard roll for a smaller fit) or napkins (use an empty TP roll). Hooray for no more creases!
