White Plains, White Dress, and a Little Springsteen

We’re ecstatic to blow up your wedding weekend with this stunning real wedding that took place in White Plains, New York. The beautiful couple, Jessica and Sweeny’s wedding was captured by Sarah and Peter from Afterglow Photos.

REAL WEDDING AT THE C.V. RICH MANSION:

Wedding Date: 8/20/10 Reception Venue: C.V. Rich Mansion City, State: White Plains, NY

Sarah tells us,

“Jessica and Sweeny decided to have their first look before the ceremony. It made for some fantastic photos and for a very romantic moment between the two. Our gorgeous bride was wore a veil that was hand crafted by her Mother. One key element to the ceremony was a ritual in a Hindu wedding, known as the Saptapadi, or seven vows. It is a beautiful custom and the couple wanted to include this in their ceremony, as it was an important reminder of Sweeny’s heritage. When our bride and the groom took their seventh step around the fire (candle pictured on the grass during ceremony) and the last vow, they promised that they would be true and loyal to each other and would remain companions and best of friends for a lifetime. Another highlight was a visit from Mike Francesa, from the “Mike’d Up” radio talk show (and past TV commentator). Plus the concert like music provided by Tramps Like Us, a Springsteen cover band.”
