Jenessa + Dan’s New York DIY Wedding

Jenessa and Dan just recently celebrated their New York DIY wedding on May 6th. Their fabulous New York DIY wedding was hosted at the Queens County Farm Museum in Queens, New York. With a strict budget in mind the bride Jenessa rocked the DIY wedding details. Their DIY wedding definitely has that rustic feeling along with elegant dress and warm lighting throughout the farm’s barn. Their detail oriented wedding photographer was Kristina from Kristina Hill Photography. Kristina fills us in on some of the most beautiful handmade crafted details including the magnificently earthly presentation surrounding their wedding cake.

Kristina, “What I think is most noteworthy is her cake! She really had one of the most stunning cakes I’ve ever seen and it was made by her mom! The toppers were sculpted by an artist friend and the cake base was made by her stepfather as were parts of the centerpiece, the table numbers and others. She bought the flowers wholesale keeping them in water at her apartment for three days prior to the wedding so they would fully open. The day of the wedding she had her friends and family assemble the beautiful spring arrangements.”
