I love the look of gold leafing. Like calligraphy, learning how to gold leaf is one my list of things I’d like to do. While I haven’t tackled gold leafing myself (yet), the look of gold leaf used in wedding and home decor is an inspiration to me. Today we’re sharing a handful of gold inspired wedding ideas (some using gold leafing) to inspire your upcoming wedding. We’ve rounded up a gold leaf wedding cake, ‘love’ signage, gold-inspired wedding invitations and place cards, a mason jar centerpiece, a table number, and a few DIY ideas you’ll want to try this weekend. Let’s begin, shall we?

Hi, loves! So… Thanksgiving is less than a week away, temps are dropping over the weekend (maybe even a dusting of snow?) and I’m getting more and more antsy to turn on Christmas music on full blast. All day. With this version of Santa Baby on repeat. Ah, the holiday season: the time for Christmas themed wedding ideas, sequined accessories, delicious desserts, hot cocoa, chic cocktails (+ mocktails), and glamorous gifts for loved ones. Speaking of… I was browsing Emma Gordon London recently and couldn’t help but ooh and aah over the chic + sparkly wedding party bags in her collection. These make excellent wedding party bags for the holiday especially, with gold sequin, sparkly cobalt blue, and glittery black bags available. If you’re planning a holiday wedding — or your bridesmaids are wearing little black bridesmaid dresses — consider these party bags for their wedding gift. Let’s be honest: the Ella rates pretty high on my list. Best Day Ever? Royal blue lining? Light blue flowers on the outside as your “something blue”? Chic ivory lace? This is one pretty little package.

It doesn’t mean you’ll have bad luck if you don’t oblige, but it’s a fun wedding tradition to participate in nonetheless. On a strict budget? Good morning, sweethearts! We’re kicking off this lovely Tuesday with a little mint wedding inspiration. Mint is said to be ‘the wedding color of the year’ and for good reason: mint green is an incredibly soft, versatile shade which can be applied to any detail of your wedding. If you’re plan to add mint to your palette, use sparingly and complement with a neutral shade like ivory or cream for best results. We’ve rounded up a few of our newest favorite mint finds (all handmade, of course!) to inspire you. Take a peek and let us know… what do you think of mint? Would you use this shade in your color palette?
Mint Wedding Inspiration
First up, this mint bow clutch is one of my favorite purses to date. Handmade by Brighter Day, this bag is perfect for the bride-to-be or her ‘maids. Plus, I give it double points for being fashionable even after the wedding.
