As this hairstyle series comes to a close at Day 31, we wanted to share this last style — a chic hair bun — with you. It’s such a beautiful, piece-y, curly updo that looks exceptionally elegant for a wedding. Take a look…
Chic Hair Bun
One of my favorite looks that can be dressed up or down is an elegant side ponytail. Worn beautifully by this brunette bride, the side ponytail sweeps hair away from your face and can be accessorized with a beautiful brooch or hair pin. I love the side part on this style, too.
Hi, loves! Emma here. Can I tell you a secret? I’m loving these wedding hairstyles, but I am secretly having trouble coming up with unique, totally-captures-the-look names for these styles. I mean, seriously, how many times can you say something is a pulled back updo and make it sound unique? Ah, well. Updos are pretty similar, you have to admit, but today’s sleek updo is one of our favorites for a traditional wedding. I love the way the bride’s hair is pulled away from her face, highlighting those earrings and that neckline! Oh, and that dress! It’s gorgeous. Take a look…
Sleek Updo Wedding Hairstyle
It’s Day 3 in our wedding hairstyle ideas series and we’re so excited about this one. Have you ever heard of a braided chignon? It’s a chignon, but 10x cuter because there’s a braid wrapped around it.

What’s not to love about Joanne and Joe’s Pittsburgh wedding? Their Pittsburgh wedding is culturally unique because it combines both a traditional Catholic ceremony followed by a traditional Korean ceremony. Now, let’s get to the elegantly fun part of Joanne and Joe’s wedding day. Elegantly dressed bridesmaids and groomsman looked all too good, with the ladies wearing fashionable green strappy dresses; the men looked handsome in black ties. Joanne’s beautiful white wedding dress is absolutely stunning along with her bright blue jeweled heels…
I love the timeless, elegant look of pearls on a bride. I especially adore pearl necklaces with a vintage brooch. This beautiful 3-strand pearl necklace by Powder Blue Bijoux has cream-colored glass pearls and a vintage inspired silver box clasp. The brooch has been re-purposed and measures 3″ in length. This is one necklace you could wear for your wedding and keep tucked away in your jewelry box for special events. The model is wearing a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and this type of necklace complements it well.
