Happy Wednesday! We’re excited to bring you Julianne and Dan’s Georgian Bay engagement session. Their recent e-session was captured by Toronto wedding photographer, Photography by Calin. Calin tells us, “This was one of the most fun engagement photo shoots I have done. The couple invited me to do their engagement at their cottage in Georgian Bay, located two hours from Toronto. I always suggest my couples to treat the shoot like a date where I just happen to be around and take photos. That make couples less camera aware and allows me to photograph more photo journalistic photos. After we arrived in Georgian Bay, we had lunch and walked by the docks, spent time downtown and headed to the cottage to enjoy a splendid Georgian Bay sunset. The champagne started flowing, which made for some fun shots.” See the photos in 3…2…1!

Wow! This Norfolk Engagement Session was amazing! Lauren and Phil’s engagement session was earlier this month in and around Norfolk, Virginia. The first part of their session was in the woods of a local park. There’s where the magic starts to happen with some intimate photos. One of the session’s most intriguing photographs has them sitting on a park bench, next to another older couple. The rest of their session is in downtown where the couple’s fun and bubbly persona pops! Capturing their engagement session and all of its revelry was Echard from Echard Wheeler Photography. See the photos and catch the sunset after the jump…

This Utah engagement session is super cute! Laci and Mike’s engagement session was this past August in the city of Sandy, Utah. They strolled around a local city park while their photographer Cindee from Cindee Starkie Photography captured their love for one another. Find out how they met and see the photos…
Utah Engagement Session
Laci tells us, “We met online, I thought he was super cute with his red beard. He took me to a restaurant and after he said we could do anything so I told him I wanted chocolate cake, mind you it’s midnight… He said “ok, if you want chocolate cake then we will be getting you chocolate cake.” He took me to an all night cafe full of hipsters and got me one of the best pieces of chocolate cake I’ve ever had. He’ll tell you that he knew he liked me when I’d only eat the center out of my cake, it’s the best.”
“He is the first person I want to go to when I have a bad day, he always finds a way to make me feel better. He is a HUGE dork like me. He takes me to all sorts of new places and makes me try new things that I normally wouldn’t. He will surprise me with chocolate just because he knows I’ll love it. He is very good with my family, they tell him all the time how much they love him, especially my niece Ashley… I think to her he’s part uncle, part therapist.”
Michael tells us, “She makes me laugh, she does dorky stuff (no I don’t), she knows how to cheer me up. Our favorite things to do… We have movie time, he is the best popcorn maker in the world. We love to go on walks, the zoo, and long drives. One of our favorite things is to go to Ruth’s diner for breakfast and then take a drive up the canyon. We will sit there and play the name game for children we hope to have one day, I hate to break it to him but we will not be naming our boys ‘Chuck’ and ‘Norris’….”

Engaged! Meet Katy and JR, a recently engaged couple from West Virginia. They first met while attending West Virginia University. Future groom JR tells us, “I’ll never forget the first time I got to hear her beautiful voice.” They described their relationship as love at first sound, and then first sight when they first met in person. Katy and JR knew that they wanted a relaxed and inviting engagement session, and they got just that. They found the perfect wedding photographer for their engagement session, Olivia from Liv Hefner Photography. See the photos and find out more after the jump…
Olivia tells us, “These two are crazy about each other too, making for a wonderful engagement session. Their session took place earlier in August at their property on the outskirts of Parkersburg. The field was beautiful and they brought a vibrant blanket to cuddle up with in the tall grass. Katy and JR who are both vibrant and creative people decorated a guitar for their session. It was beautiful but not as beautiful when JR picked up the guitar and started playing, then Katy joined in and they serenaded each other at sunset in beautiful West Virginia, their favorite place to be.”
The bride-to-be Katy tells us, “We had so much fun! Olivia really made us feel relaxed, very in the moment. She has a gift for making people open up to each other, and she really caught that spontaneity and love we have for each other. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her there with us to catch every moment of our special day!”
