If you’re looking for a fresh springtime wedding theme, you’ve come to the right place! Check out this inspiration board featuring a purple orchid wedding theme with green mixed in. If you’re planning an orchid wedding theme, you can pick your favorite color (like white, purple, or green) and pair with a favorite coordinating color. For this board, we’ve used a mix of purple and bright green as one such example. Keep in mind that every piece does not need to be orchid themed (which may overwhelm); instead, pick a few favorite pieces and use coordinating colorful pieces for the rest. Read on to see what we’ve discovered + check out a beautiful orchid-inspired wedding giveaway at the end of this post. Enjoy!

Hello, loves! Today we’re sharing some delightfully rustic inspiration in the form of a rustic fairytale wedding theme. But first… I recently went camping and my almost seven-year-old niece taught me a thing or two about fairies. At the campfire, she looked into the woods and pointed at brief sparks of light. These sparks – lightning bugs, naturally – are not lightning bugs. They’re fairies. Acorns? Fairy hats. Holes in the tree? Fairy houses. Moss? Moss is just moss. (I thought – pixie dust! – but she informed me, “No, Aunt Emma, that’s just moss.” Bless her heart.) I wanted to share that story to remind you that a wedding theme can be ANYTHING you dream it to be. A fairytale wedding doesn’t have to be all Cinderella carriages, castles, and crowns. If you’re an eco-bride, would prefer a position as princess of the woods vs. the ballroom, and you need some serious inspiration for a unique wedding theme, you’ve come to the right place. Today we’re sharing an exclusive Enchanted rustic fairytale wedding shoot by a stellar team of wedding pros with photography by Jessy Carté. So, without further adieu… let’s get started!

These nature-inspired bird cake toppers by Dances With Clay are handcrafted in clay and painted in your choice of color to tie into your palette. If you’re planning a garden wedding, remember to tie in the theme with decor in unexpected places. The example below shows you how to decorate chairs for a garden wedding in lieu of the traditional ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ signage. Roses, draped elegantly across the chair backs, tie in the color palette and garden theme perfectly. Plus, they smell amazing! These photographs were taken by Joy Marie Photography; Amy Kaneko provided the styling. Spotted via Pinterest (follow us!) via Style Me Pretty.

One reason (out of 93942902) why we love handmade wedding items is the ability to request a custom order just for you. For example, jewelry in stores simply cannot compete with the quality of handmade custom jewelry to tie in your color palette or wedding theme. And, unlike big box chains, handmade artisans are usually delighted to fill custom orders and work with brides one-on-one. One talented artisan who loves custom orders is Amy of Helen Ethel Studio. When Amy receives a custom order from a bride, she doesn’t just create a beautiful piece – she creates totally custom jewelry styled just for you. So, when a bride-to-be named Katie requested a custom jewelry order for her upcoming June wedding, Amy took on the challenge. Katie, who sounds like a sweetheart of a bride, gave Amy full artistic reign and only asked that her jewelry reflect her vintage aesthetic and coordinate with her color palette. Ready for the challenge, Amy got to work and selected brass to tie in Katie’s love for vintage jewelry while complementing the rich of sapphire and lime green nicely. A multi-strand necklace was selected as the style for a layered look, which will look beautiful worn with the bridesmaids’ sleeveless sapphire blue dresses. The final result? Read on to see for yourself!

If you’re planning a winter wedding, you may be wondering how to decorate the entry doors or add decor to your reception site. To add an elegant touch to your ceremony or reception site, we recommend hanging a few winter wedding wreaths. These winter wedding wreaths by Wild Ridge Design caught our eye for its handcrafted and unique collection of winter wreaths that can be reused even after the wedding day. Hang one or two on your ceremony doors, place one at the entryway to your reception site or even display one above your cake table. Your wedding wreaths can then be reused after the wedding day in your love nest to become a treasured keepsake for years. Oh, and did we add that these are scented wreaths? It’s true! A few of the wreaths below have a custom sugar cookie or peppermint scent added. Yum!

Keri + Drew’s shabby chic wedding is absolutely stunning. Their Iowa shabby chic wedding has so many beautiful details including mason jars, weathered furniture, and flowery greenery that pops. Keri and Drew went out incorporating the color green into their wedding details from the brides shoes and table centerpieces to their delicious green candy table. Using more than just the color green, one of the most unique and creative ideas Keri and Drew used in their shabby chic wedding was the use of plants as guest favors. Photographing their Iowa wedding was Emily from Emily Crall Photography. Emily fills us in on some of the couple’s wedding day fun.
