Here’s one of our favorite book examples from their gallery. The style is named Industrial Chic.
Wow, prepare to be impressed by this unique woodsy wedding! First meet the wonderful couple, Jen and Chris. Their forest wedding was at the Black Mountain Sanctuary near Asheville, North Carolina. The wedding day was wet with lots of rain, but cleared enough for their outdoor ceremony. That sign of good luck continued throughout the day. Later that evening, wedding guests enjoyed toasting marshmallows around a roaring bonfire and even a desert station with s’mores. Then Jen and Chris rocked the dance floor and ended the night with a sparkler sendoff. Carolyn and Geoff from Carolyn Scott Photography were the creative team that captured these amazing photos…

If you love wine themed weddings or engagement sessions, you’ll love today’s feature! We are sharing David & Kristen’s beautiful winery engagement session in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with photography by Shutterfreek. Their photographer Paul tells us, “David and Kristen were friends first. They were best friends all through high school and college. After college, Kristin moved to DC to become a nurse. David left for pilot training and the start of his Air Force career. After 3 years of just phone calls and emails she insisted he come visit her. It was on that trip that their friendship turned into something more.”
“One year into dating they met in Albuquerque for a long weekend. They visited Casa Rodena Winery where they sat and talked about their future together over a glass of wine. It was on top of Sandia Peak that she was in his arms and never felt safer. It was after a day in Santa Fe at the Eldorado Hotel (where they are getting married in April) that she knew they were meant to be. That weekend was such a milestone in their relationship that we tried our best to incorporate it into our wedding as much as possible.”
If you’re looking for destination Italian weddings, you’ve found it! Janice and Steve’s wedding was a magnificent event that took place in Sorrento, Italy. One of the most breathtaking details from their wedding were the incredible views of the Bay of Naples. Their wedding was planned and coordinated by Jayne from Venice Events. Jayne’s an expert in coordinating weddings in Italy. She tells us all about Janice and Steve’s wedding in the following story…
Janice and Steve’s Destination Italian Wedding
“Janice and Steve enjoyed an amazing week of celebrations, starting with ‘hen’ and ‘stag’ evenings in local restaurants (the ‘hen’s definitely outdid the stags by the ladies dancing until the early hours in a small typical night club), the evening before their wedding was spent with all their family and friends in a lemon-grove restaurant – a relaxed evening enjoying local specialties.”
This beautiful southern plantation wedding is one for the record books! Tanya and Trevor were married this past May at the Litchfield Plantation in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. It was designed by Gigi Noelle Events, who handled an unexpected visitor well: Tropical Storm Ana. Although Tanya and Trevor planned to get married outdoors, they had to tent the wedding at the last minute. Many couples would have been bothered by a last minute change to plans, but Tanya and Trevor just rolled with it! In fact, Tanya was so high-spirited and happy to be marrying the love of her life that the storm did not upset her plans for the best day ever.
The bride and groom worked on wedding details together including making their own invitations, building an awesome beer trestle, and even a huge lawn Jenga game that was painted to match their wedding colors. There were rustic farm tables and a dessert/cake table, which featured “naked” cakes and yummy homemade desserts. They even had a kids table with activities to entertain them. As wedding favors, the couple made their own moonshine to give away to guests. They even had a custom corn hole game made, which was used as a guest book alternative! This is a beautiful handmade wedding at its finest! Read on to see the photos captured beautifully by Feuza Reis Studios.

Get ready for some gorgeous beach wedding inspiration! Tracy and Ron’s Key Wedding was captured beautifully with Filda Konec Photography behind the lens and planning behind the scenes by Jennifer Levering of We’ve Got the Keys. Tracy and Ron’s wedding took place at The Westin Key West Resort & Marina, a venue which offers a stunning outdoor pier for the ceremony and romantic ocean-side views for dinner. For their beach themed wedding, Tracy and Ron selected a pink and navy color palette — one of our favorites! She chose short light pink bridesmaid dresses for the girls, who had the opportunity to pick a dress they loved in the same color (but in any style they liked best). The men wore navy blue suits paired with Sperry’s top siders. They also wore a coordinating navy and pink bow tie that really pulled together this fun and modern color palette. With this seaside ceremony, romantic dinner, celebration under the stars, and handmade details everywhere you look, this is definitely one of our favorite beach weddings to date! Enjoy!
Key West Wedding
We love this “wifey” card given to Tracy by Ron before the ceremony. And we spy some gorgeous Jack Rogers sandals and a fun pair of bride sunglasses, too! The bride’s pink garter was her “something borrowed” from her mom.
Check out this amazing resort!
We love this shot of the groom and groomsmen. It looks like he wore some groom sunglasses, too! A must-have for a Key West wedding, we say!
If you’ve been looking for a fun laid-back rustic mountain wedding, this is it! Caroline and Alex’s wedding was this past October in Trade, Tennessee. Raven from You Are Raven Photography captured their beautiful wedding and tells us more about the details. Raven says, “The drive up to Caroline & Alex’s rustic mountain wedding in Tennessee was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever made. They married near one of my all-time favorite locations in the world, at the White Fence Farm in Trade, TN, which happens to be one of THE BEST locations I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting at.”
Rustic Mountain Wedding
“I loved Caroline & Alex pretty much immediately, and they’re my kind of people up and down. They’re so laid-back and fun and goofy and were sincerely up for whatever ridiculousness I threw at them (which, with this location, was a lot). The weather was cold and a little rainy, which ended up being perfect for the two of them, they later told me, because their trip to Ireland together early on in their relationship was such a huge part of building who they are together. So their entire wedding day just reminded them of that trip.”
