Happy Monday, loves! We’re kicking off a brand new week of handmade wedding inspiration with a new giveaway. We’ve teamed up with Elycia Camille to offer a custom ring dish, one of our favorite ring pillow alternatives, to one lucky reader. The ring dish is handmade with durable earthenware clay and customized with text and dates of your choosing. A ring dish is used instead of a ring pillow at your ceremony; then, it is reused at home as a creative place to hold your ring. Want a chance to win one? Read on to get started!

This ring “pillow” features old books covered in moss to appear as though it was recovered from a shipwreck. Rings can be secured atop the books with twine, attached. Pink rosettes finish this piece perfectly and the entire pillow can be used as decor in your love nest after the wedding.

This adorable silhouette ring pillow spotted at Simply Silhouettes will be a lasting heirloom for years! This custom pillow is a fun alternative to a traditional plain pillow and will be admired in your love nest for years. This ring bearer pillow is completely customizable and is handmade from custom printed fabric. Send your favorite photo and they will create a one-of-a-kind ring pillow with your custom silhouette printed right onto it. The pillow is 8″x8″, big enough to make a statement but small enough for your ring bearer to carry down the aisle. Silk ribbon finishes off the look and secures your rings to the pillow for easy access during the ceremony. LOVE!

Want an alternative to the traditional ring pillow? Check out the ring bearer block, which offers six sides of customization. I spotted this ring bearer block over at Jennifer Raichman and love how each is handmade and customized for each couple. This particular ring pillow alternative measures 2.5″ x 2.5″ in size and is decoupaged with your name and wedding date. It is made of solid maple wood and painted (this first one in chartreuse really pops). It also includes a silk ribbon to which the rings are attached. This ring bearer block will look perfect in your love nest after the big day and is easy for little hands to carry down the aisle.

Looking for a charming ring pillow alternative? We found it! This nest ring pillow stack spotted via The Dainty Woods is a beautifully rustic, whimsical alternative to a traditional satin and lace ring bearer pillow. Each pillow stack features two vintage books wrapped in ribbon + lace (for a pretty detail) or jute (to add additional rustic charm) with a moss-filled nest on top. Your wedding rings can be tied inside to or placed inside the nest for a secure fit. We love these pillow alternatives: so unique! Also, did we mention they are handmade? It’s true. Check out our favorites below…as a rustic + whimsical alternative to traditional satin and lace. Each ring pillow alternative features two books wrapped in ribbon + lace (such a pretty detail) or jute with a moss-filled nest placed on top. Rings can be tied or placed inside the nest for a secure fit.

Handmade ring pillows with patterns are an easy way to incorporate a print into your decor. Traditional satin or silk pillows usually offer a large flower bloom or rhinestone brooch, but these handmade ring pillows instead feature whimsical patterns and subtle embellishments. When I planned my wedding, I selected a simple satin ring pillow in ivory. It was one of the final items on my to-buy checklist, and in hindsight (always 20×20, of course) I wish I had selected one with more personalization, a larger size + reusable functionality for my love nest. I adore my ring pillow and will cherish it forever, but it is a hint overly wedding-esque and does not mesh with any decor. Plus, it’s super-duper tiny. It is likely to sit in my drawer with mementos because it is sentimental but serves no specific purpose at this time. When I spotted these patterned ring pillows by Avenue C Bridal I thought, holy wow, these are perfect! I love their charming whimsical patterns, larger sizes and subtle decorative accent pieces.
