Skeleton Key Escort Cards

Posted July 8, 2011 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 2 Comments

We love twists on traditional escort cards, especially when the bride and groom incorporate a rustic flair. Heidi & Alex’s rustic DIY wedding is completely awe-inspiring, but one of our favorite details is the DIY skeleton key escort cards. They secured vintage piano music sheets onto an old, rustic wooden frame and suspended skeleton keys (tied onto escort card tags) with twine. This is one of our favorite real wedding details ever! Beautifully done, you two!

Pearl Bouquet Wrap

The pearl bouquet wrap is one trend train I’m hopping onto with both heels! A pearl bouquet wrap is an simple solution to a traditionally plain bouquet wrap typically made of satin or lace. A pearl wrap can be added to the satin or lace for a glammed up look, no matter how simple or extravagant it may be. Spotted via Style Me Pretty with gorgeous floral design by Flowers by Felicia and photography by Kristin Weaver.

Ball Boutonniere in Any Color

Posted June 13, 2011 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 6 Comments

We’re always excited to see a non-floral boutonniere for brides who wish to use an alternative. We spotted this ‘Horton’ ball boutonniere, which reminds us of yellow billy buttons you may have seen around these parts. (We’re quite obsessed.) However, if yellow isn’t your thing, these boutonnieres come in any color so you can mix and match to your heart’s desire! Check out this beautiful boutonniere example:

Mason Jar Centerpiece + Coffee Beans

Spotted: A mason jar centerpiece for coffee lovers! It’s easy to DIY – fill regular mason jars with coffee beans, add fresh flowers, and place on tables. Easy, peasy. We recommend flowers in a bright color that will contrast the brown so the jars really POP. We love the pink shown below:
