Hi, lovely brides-to-be! How was your Thanksgiving? We popped in earlier today to tell you about these awesome rustic wedding invitations with burlap and we’re back to share some more handmade wedding inspiration. But first, did you venture out to the malls or stores for Black Friday today? I’ll admit, last night I enjoyed so much delicious home-made food that I went home, watched tv with A, and fell asleep. This morning, though, we did make it out to do a little shopping. If you haven’t made up your mind yet about shopping this weekend, I encourage you to support Small Business Saturday tomorrow, 11/30, at your local small businesses. I know I’ll be checking them out, too, in-store and online. Small businesses could really use your support, especially at this time of year! Speaking of small business, here’s a sampling of a few newly added items in The Marketplace to inspire your wedding. We’ve found a clutch, a garter, a stunning hair accessory, whimsical garland, and more. Enjoy!
What’s Hot in The Marketplace – 11.29 Edition
I swear, anytime I pop into PaperFlora‘s shop, I find a new item to love. This gold chevron clutch purse is my new favorite.

I love pillows. I was recently oohing and aahing over the bedding department at Bed Bath and Beyond, wondering why all comforter sets don’t come with at least three throw pillows. Bright, poppy pillows – like ceremony ring pillows, for instance – can really set the tone for your wedding decor (and home). Instead of going with a neutral, think outside the box and pick a pillow with pop-factor. To illustrate what I mean, we’re sharing a collection of ceremony ring pillows by Duryea Place Designs in swoon-worthy patterns. These pillows are sure to look great at your ceremony and in your home! Read on to be inspired!
Ceremony Ring Pillows
First, this aqua and orange pillow is my absolute favorite. It features a cheery shade of aqua, and orange button, and a pretty floral pattern with birds.

It is likely that most of your beloved wedding day items may not fit into your home decor after the wedding (and that’s understandable). However, some items – like your ring pillow – will only be used for a minute or two and stowed away in your attic to live with dust bunnies forever. But we think there has to be a better way… which is why we’re sharing an idea on how to reuse your ring pillow with help from the lovely shop at Sarah Smile Design. Read on to find out more…
