A Dreamy Seaside Wedding Shoot at Glen Cove Marina

Do you envision a classic wedding infused with a soft pastel color palette, sophisticated touches of glamour by way of lustrous pearls and vintage inspired lace, and an elegant seaside wedding venue? Then you’ll fall head-over-heels in love with this styled shoot captured by Christine Glebov Photography and designed by Your Moments – Wedding & Event Planning. The venue they selected was an exceptional choice. Christine tells us, “When the idea for this wedding shoot initiated, we knew right away The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina in Vallejo, California would be the perfect venue. Surrounded by majestic yachts and sailboats and lovely bay views, the pristine newly restored Lighthouse is a 1910 historic landmark with large windows throughout and grand white column verandas. Adjacent to the estate is a private boat dock where newlyweds and guests can charter their own yacht or sailboat. Courtesy of Bay View Charters, that is exactly what our couple, Nick and Laurel, did to enjoy the warm sunset and refreshing bay breeze.”

In this seaside wedding styled shoot, you’ll find pastel inspired floral design by Megan Haney Designs, pearls, lace, silver mercury glass, candlelight, crystal, elegant calligraphy, and much more. As Christine put it so eloquently, this shoot is “seaside meets classic Hollywood“. We couldn’t agree more! Take a look…

Sea Inspired Wedding Ideas / Styled Shoot

To set the tone for this seaside wedding, A Quaint Soiree created a customized handwritten watercolor calligraphy invitation suite and linen banner. The linen banner (shown below) was displayed alongside a sailboat with the saying Like the Sea has Pearls, You Have My Heart.

Colorado Engagement Session: Love Never Looked So Good!

Who loves Colorado engagement sessions? We’re excited to share with you Courtney and Kirby’s lovely engagement session! Their session was taken in downtown Denver by Emmy from Searching for the Light Photography. Emmy tells us, “When I first meet Courtney & Kirby I knew they were going to be so much fun to work with. Courtney is so adorable and fun loving. Kirby is calm, quiet and genuinely happy, but most importantly these two are crazy about each other – which of course makes my job so much fun! I love how much they laugh together and how comfortable they are in each others arms. They moved together to Denver not knowing anyone and starting new with nothing. I love how it seems that transition really bonded them well and how much they are in love with this city. So it was very fitting that we took pictures at Union Station and in LoDo near Commons Park. I hadn’t been inside Union Station before but man is it gorgeous, good job Denver on hiring amazingly talented architects and interior designers!”

Courtney + Kirby’s Colorado Engagement Session

Courtney says, “We chose Commons Park and Union Station because its what we love about downtown Denver! All the historic buildings and the charm from Union Station paired with the mountain views and small town park feel of Commons are exactly what Kirby and I wanted captured in the pictures… aside from our deep connection & love for one another, obviously.”

Looking for Italian Weddings? See this Destination Wedding!

If you’re looking for destination Italian weddings, you’ve found it! Janice and Steve’s wedding was a magnificent event that took place in Sorrento, Italy. One of the most breathtaking details from their wedding were the incredible views of the Bay of Naples. Their wedding was planned and coordinated by Jayne from Venice Events. Jayne’s an expert in coordinating weddings in Italy. She tells us all about Janice and Steve’s wedding in the following story…

Janice and Steve’s Destination Italian Wedding

“Janice and Steve enjoyed an amazing week of celebrations, starting with ‘hen’ and ‘stag’ evenings in local restaurants (the ‘hen’s definitely outdid the stags by the ladies dancing until the early hours in a small typical night club), the evening before their wedding was spent with all their family and friends in a lemon-grove restaurant – a relaxed evening enjoying local specialties.”

17 Coasters That Will Look Absolutely Lovely at Weddings

How will you incorporate your personal style into your wedding bar? The first things couples always tackle are drinks and glassware, but what about fun and unexpected details that can make your bar really POP? Besides fun swizzle sticks or straws like these and a signature drink sign, wedding coasters are another detail we love to see at receptions. We have seen coasters given as favors, we have seen coaster save the dates, escort cards, and we have seen them turned into creative guest book alternatives. A unique wedding coaster can act as an element of decor for your theme, as well as offer functionality by keeping tables clean of condensation and acting as a “drink saver” (more on that below). To illustrate how awesome wedding coasters can be, we’ve rounded-up seventeen finds to inspire your unique wedding bar style. Read on to see what we’ve found!

Or Detroit. Or Los Angeles. Or NYC. Wherever your love adventure began! By Allie Hasson. 11. Please Don’t Take My Drink

A wedding coaster can be used as a drink saver, when placed on the rim of a glass. This coaster reads, “Please don’t take my drink, I’m dancing“. Beautiful Southern Plantation Wedding: Tanya + Trevor

This beautiful southern plantation wedding is one for the record books! Tanya and Trevor were married this past May at the Litchfield Plantation in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. It was designed by Gigi Noelle Events, who handled an unexpected visitor well: Tropical Storm Ana. Although Tanya and Trevor planned to get married outdoors, they had to tent the wedding at the last minute. Many couples would have been bothered by a last minute change to plans, but Tanya and Trevor just rolled with it! In fact, Tanya was so high-spirited and happy to be marrying the love of her life that the storm did not upset her plans for the best day ever.

The bride and groom worked on wedding details together including making their own invitations, building an awesome beer trestle, and even a huge lawn Jenga game that was painted to match their wedding colors. There were rustic farm tables and a dessert/cake table, which featured “naked” cakes and yummy homemade desserts. They even had a kids table with activities to entertain them. As wedding favors, the couple made their own moonshine to give away to guests. They even had a custom corn hole game made, which was used as a guest book alternative! This is a beautiful handmade wedding at its finest! Read on to see the photos captured beautifully by Feuza Reis Studios.

Tracy + Ron’s Key West Wedding in Pink and Navy Blue

Get ready for some gorgeous beach wedding inspiration! Tracy and Ron’s Key Wedding was captured beautifully with Filda Konec Photography behind the lens and planning behind the scenes by Jennifer Levering of We’ve Got the Keys. Tracy and Ron’s wedding took place at The Westin Key West Resort & Marina, a venue which offers a stunning outdoor pier for the ceremony and romantic ocean-side views for dinner. For their beach themed wedding, Tracy and Ron selected a pink and navy color palette — one of our favorites! She chose short light pink bridesmaid dresses for the girls, who had the opportunity to pick a dress they loved in the same color (but in any style they liked best). The men wore navy blue suits paired with Sperry’s top siders. They also wore a coordinating navy and pink bow tie that really pulled together this fun and modern color palette. With this seaside ceremony, romantic dinner, celebration under the stars, and handmade details everywhere you look, this is definitely one of our favorite beach weddings to date! Enjoy!

Key West Wedding

We love this “wifey” card given to Tracy by Ron before the ceremony. And we spy some gorgeous Jack Rogers sandals and a fun pair of bride sunglasses, too! The bride’s pink garter was her “something borrowed” from her mom.
