Wedding Coaster Favors + Special Offer!
Posted December 27, 2011 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 1 Comment
A wedding favor that offers a function for your guests means he or she will hold on to it for years. A pretty (and expensive) wedding favor looks nice on your wedding tables, but will it outlast your first few anniversaries? Probably not. Unless a wedding favor can provide a useful function for its guests, it will likely be stored away in the attic to collect dust or placed in a box because the recipient feels guilty throwing it away. Save your guests the guilt trip and opt instead for something he or she can actually use… like these wedding coaster favors! Today we’re featuring these pretty wedding coaster favors by the lovely My Little Chickadee Creations who is happy to help design a set to tie into your wedding theme perfectly. Read on to see a few of our hand-picked wedding coaster favors and find out how you can receive a special discount offer. Enjoy!
First, let’s focus on two ideas for wedding themes. If you’re planning a nautical wedding theme, you’ll need to get your hands on these pretty nautical themed wedding coaster favors:

Succulent Wedding Favors + Tea Cups = Perfection
Posted July 19, 2011 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 9 Comments
Give guests the gift of plantable succulents! Succulents are easy plants for guests to maintain because they are hardy, retain plenty of water, and can withstand colder temperatures than other plants. These easy-to-DIY succulent wedding favors (which double as place cards, too!) are placed in tea cups ready for guests to plant. Since they are “planted” into whimsical tea cups, guests get two gifts in one! Gather plenty of vintage tea cups from places like thrift shops, garage sales, or estate sales – the more mismatched, the better. Each guests will have a one-of-a-kind planter piece to cherish for years.

Jeny and Colby’s Green DIY Wedding
Posted July 14, 2011 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 3 Comments
Jeny and Colby’s green DIY wedding features so many beautiful details at the premier Mildale Farms. The details from this Kansas wedding were so well crafted by the bride and groom. Most of the DIY wedding details by the bride included handmade centerpiece boxes covered in green moss and wrapped in deep plum ribbon. Jeny also created green ornamental moss balls of different sizes and scattered them across the tables. You’ll see in the pictures below the beautiful green moss covered monogram hanging above the wedding party table and the two grapevine chandeliers with hanging candles in the center of the room. Other great DIY wedding details include the painted antique windows and an arbor made by the groom for the ceremony. The couple’s love and DIY wedding details were well captured by Kansas wedding photographer Melissa from Melissa Rieke Photography.

Wedding Monograms
Posted July 14, 2011 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 1 Comment
One key element to achieving a cohesive wedding theme is consistency. One easy way to achieve a consistent look is through the use of wedding monograms. Think of your monogram as a wedding “logo” which can be placed on decor throughout your event. Monograms can vary and typically either include one initial (the letter of your new last name), both initials, three initials (the first letter of first names + the first letter of your new last name) or your first names written out. To make your wedding monogram really stand out, be sure to use tons of color. Add your monogram to each element throughout your decor such as the save the date, invitation, menu, ceremony program, favor, and aisle runner for consistency. Take a look at a few colorful examples we spotted at Wedding Monograms:
