You’ll absolutely love this offbeat Windmill Winery wedding! The bride and groom, Justice and Paul, had the most awesome rustic indie wedding we’ve ever seen. The wedding’s location at the Windmill Winery in Florence, Arizona was both unique and seductive. The winery offers cool elements from lush landscape and mountainous views to an elegantly rustic barn. The couple’s handmade details include mustache flasks, mason jar drinking glasses with stripped straws, hanging picture frames, customized cake topper, and cup cakes topped with an engagement photo. You’re also sure to love the birdcage card box and wild white turkey. Capturing the couple at their very best and hitting every rustic detail was Rachel from Bright Fizz Photo! Lisa and Seth’s Minnesota wedding is absolutely gorgeous. This exciting Minnesota wedding had a heartwarming ceremony at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church followed up by a fun and joyous reception at the Mendakota Country Club. Lisa’s pretty details included her Staccato shoes, her La Sposa Leonor wedding dress, hand-calligraphed place cards, self made flower girl dresses, and feather fascinator by Lo Boheme. Some of the must unique items were the fascinating flower colors enveloped throughout the event and the vintage decor medicine bottles. For fun Lisa and Seth posed for a drink with friends in a western themed saloon, stopped for tasty mini donuts, and rode the stillwater trolley around town. With such beautiful colors, wedding wear, and thoroughly thought out details, Lisa and Seth’s wedding is one of our favorites. Capturing their splendidly pretty wedding was Erin from Erin Johnson Photography. You’re not only going to enjoy this wedding from Erin but you’ll be interested to know that Erin Johnson Photography along with a team of incredible wedding vendors are giving away a wedding package with prizes totaling over $23,000 dollars. Stay tuned for the giveaway post later today at 1 p.m. Eastern time.

Andrew and Teresa’s fun engagement shoot was recently photographed in Indianola, Iowa. This future bride and groom enjoyed posing for the camera in wide open fields all while enjoying a picnic with wine and cheese. Following their delicious picnic, Andrew strung a few chords on his guitar for Teresa before a full session of fun broke out with Andrew’s two daughters and one large balloon. Their fun engagement shoot photographer was Allison from Allison Marie Photography. Allison being a friend of Teresa was able to listen to her engagement shoot inspiration ideas and capture them perfectly in some beautiful locations including Buxton Park and Lake Ahquabi. See for yourself.

Jeny and Colby’s green DIY wedding features so many beautiful details at the premier Mildale Farms. The details from this Kansas wedding were so well crafted by the bride and groom. Most of the DIY wedding details by the bride included handmade centerpiece boxes covered in green moss and wrapped in deep plum ribbon. Jeny also created green ornamental moss balls of different sizes and scattered them across the tables. You’ll see in the pictures below the beautiful green moss covered monogram hanging above the wedding party table and the two grapevine chandeliers with hanging candles in the center of the room. Other great DIY wedding details include the painted antique windows and an arbor made by the groom for the ceremony. The couple’s love and DIY wedding details were well captured by Kansas wedding photographer Melissa from Melissa Rieke Photography.

We are so excited to share this gorgeous Maryland real wedding featuring Ashley + Ian, a couple you may remember from their Baltimore engagement shoot featured in our blog. This dynamic duo is back, and just as beautiful as ever! Their wedding took place at the Historic Baldwin Hall, the original meeting hall and school house of the Baldwin Methodist Church in Millersville, Maryland. Ashley’s family has lived in the area for over 50 years (hanging on the wall of Ashley’s grandmother’s house is an original pen and ink drawing of Baldwin Hall), and Ashley was baptized at Baldwin Methodist by the same pastor who performed her wedding. They held their ceremony on the steps of the old school house and hosted the reception in the old Hall. Ashley’s mother walked her down the aisle as her grandmother and 96 year old great grandmother looked on. Danielle Cover Photography, along with a 2nd photographer Kathleen McCullough did a beautiful job capturing the entire day! Danielle provided us with additional details… take it away, Danielle!

We love shoots that give our brides tons of inspiration. This Wilmington bridal shoot is one of them! The bride, MaryEllen, struck poses + looked stunning at The Balcony on Dock Street. This location’s hardwood floors and original brick walls added a charming touch to the imagery. The photographer, Eric Boneske, provided details from the day: “When they offered the room for this bridal session, I jumped at the opportunity. It was exactly what I was thinking… lots of volume, and empty space for us to do whatever we wanted. To help out with details, we brought in the fabulous Kickstand Events ladies, who rocked the style and theme for the shoot. Hot Pink Cake Stand went over the top with the mini-cakes, and Reed’s Jewelers wanted to help with some jewelry to keep with the oyster/pearl theme. A special thanks to Caitlyn from Hypnotix Spalon who was on hand helping with hair, etc. throughout the shoot. Everyone did such a fantastic job, and it shows. Thanks so much to everyone for helping this whole thing come together!” Take a peek at the shoot + additional vendor information below:

We love this beautiful, rustic and natural Ontario engagement shoot by photographer Rosina Di Trolio. Kristina + Jeff (such a beautiful couple!) wanted “natural with a touch of vintage” for their engagement shoot. We think Rosina captured the look perfectly. The photos were taken in St. Thomas Ontario Canada, the Railway Capital of Canada. In fact, the photos on the railroad tracks are a tribute to Jeff’s father and grandfather, both of whom contributed to build the Canadian Railway for many years. The picnic photos were taken at Kettle Creek in St. Thomas. Rosina incorporated an old typewriter and added the love notes. The props and antiques were supplied by Antiques on the Side in St. Thomas Ontario. Read on to see this engagement session as it unfolded…

We love when a couple really pops behind camera. Jen and Shane are a fun couple who are best friends + head over heels in love. Stephanie of StephCarson Photography shot this beautiful Cincinnati engagement and it is bursting with memorable scenery and bold colors. This couple contributed to the outfit and prop design, too! Jen is a wedding planner and Shane is a hair dresser, so they teamed up to plan the details of this shoot. Stephanie did a beautiful job capturing them – take a peek!

Our first real wedding for 2011 is this beautiful and elegant Louisiana plantation wedding. These gorgeous and fun wedding photos were taken by Louisiana wedding photographer Aaron Hogan of Eye Wander Photo.
Aaron tells us, “For my very first time at Oak Alley Plantation to photograph a wedding, September 25, 2010 was certainly a wet one. The rain added a fine mist over the plantation grounds and also into the hair and clothes of everyone. Despite the rain up until literally an hour before the ceremony, Page and Jonathan Wyrick, the bride and groom, both residing in Lake Charles, LA, were married outdoors under the first row of giant live oaks near the plantation home. It was a dark ceremony but thank goodness the couple decided to see each other before the ceremony by doing the “first look.” This allowed us to capture the best photos of the couple and their wedding party and families together in the best light.”
