Marsala is still very much a huge color favorite for fall and winter weddings; it was even selected by Pantone as the wedding color just last year. Marsala is an obvious choice for wine themed weddings, as its color is rich, featured reddish-brown roots, and offers a sophisticated yet natural earthiness. Marsala — also simply wine and similar to burgundy, cranberry, and garnet — pairs beautifully with gold, green, blush, and ivory. Today we’re sharing marsala wedding theme ideas to inspire you; perhaps marsala will be in the running for your own color palette! To make this post even sweeter, we’re teaming up with NoviaBellaTS to give away a marsala hair wreath to one lucky reader! Enter for your chance to win and see our color board below! Enjoy!

Do you want an easy way to add décor to your reception, or how about a creative way to ask bridesmaids to be a part of your wedding? You’ve come to the right place! Today we’re sharing four unique ways to use wedding wine labels, from asking your wedding party to celebrating long after the wedding is over. We’ve teamed up with our friends over at StickerYou to help us with this post, since they offer quality wine labels and specialize in wedding specific ideas. Here are a few ideas to inspire you!
Wedding Wine Labels
1. Will You Be My Bridesmaid?
When you’re ready to ask your bridesmaids to be in your wedding party, ask with a ‘Be My Bridesmaid’ label on her favorite bottle of wine. You can even upload a photo of the two of you for an extra special touch.
2. Table Numbers
One of my favorite ways that wine labels are being used in weddings is as custom table numbers: just remove your old wine label and place a custom table number label onto it. Now guests have wine for sipping right at their table—and you have an instant table number (without the need for a holder).
3. Table Wine with Fun Facts
If you want to offer multiple bottles of wine at each table, just order labels with fun facts about the newlyweds. You’ll be surprised how many guests will move table to table, just to read the different facts at each one! The facts can include anything from where you’ve traveled together to what movie you watched on your first date.
4. Wedding Gifts
Wine makes an excellent thank you gift for your wedding party members, parents, grandparents, or anyone who helped make your day special. A custom wine label will add a personalized touch whether you add your names, a custom ‘thank you’ message, the wedding date, or embellish the label with your wedding theme.
Wine also makes a great wedding gift for a newlywed couple. A guest could buy a case of wine and create a custom label for each bottle to celebrate future milestones, from “First Home” to “Honeymoon” to “First Baby”. There can even be labels for “5 Years” or “10 years” to celebrate on anniversaries.
Why Choose StickerYou Labels?
StickerYou’s wine labels are unique. Here are some qualities they have unlike other labels we’ve seen:
• writable with permanent marker
• no minimum orders
• removable without residue
• any size, any shape

Today we’re featuring this Napa private estate wedding photographed by White Ivory Photography. Christine and Mitch’s wedding in Napa Valley, California has plenty of beautiful details!
Their photographer Sandra tells us, “It’s a classic wedding with a slight rustic flair, influenced by the Tuscan style architecture of the winery with hints of Tiffany blue, black and burlap. The couple, Christine and Mitch, traveled from Vancouver, B.C with their closest of friends and family to celebrate their sweet union.”
Napa Private Estate Wedding
The bride wore a beautiful strapless lace wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. She completed her look with an elegant wedding dress sash, a beautiful pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings, and a classic wedding veil.
The elegant winery ceremony was set outside, with wood chairs and baby’s breath bouquets as aisle decor.
The wedding reception featured elegant round tables with the wedding party seated at a rectangular head table. To ‘reserve’ the seats, small bouquets of baby’s breath wrapped in burlap ribbon were tied to the chair backs.
The couple had sweet bursts of Tiffany blue everywhere — even in these elegant cupcakes that were designed like miniature Tiffany & Co. boxes.
The bride and groom chose to have a small cake for the cake cutting along with cupcakes for guests. Their cake was square shaped and featured Tiffany blue icing with a white ribbon on top in place of a cake topper.
Other details included custom wedding programs in a basket for guests to pick up, along with handfuls of white and Tiffany-blue M&Ms that featured ‘LOVE’ on the front.
