10 Brilliant Bird Wedding Ideas

Posted March 8, 2012 | 1 Comment

The sun is shining, it’s getting warmer outside and the birds have returned from their long winter vacation. It’s official: Spring is nearly here! In a few short weeks, we’ll trade in winter coats for light spring jackets, swap winter boots for rain boots, and spend time splashing in puddles instead of scraping windshields free of snow and ice. Today, we’re welcoming the upcoming season with ten brilliant hand-picked bird wedding ideas. A bird wedding theme is a fun, versatile idea for spring or summer weddings because it can incorporate nearly any style whether you’re planning a shabby chic event, a modern soiree, or a rustic wedding. Love shabby chic birds? Tie in vintage porcelain bird decor and shabby bird cages throughout your decor. Planning an eco-friendly wedding? Tie in bird seed favors wrapped up for guests. Can’t get enough “Angry Birds”? Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a fun idea to tie in your love for knocking over those annoying green pigs. ;) Enjoy!

Does anyone know the type of type of flower topper used in the number six wedding showcased? I went to their website and fell in love with the flower on it but it doesn’t mention the type of flower used. I thought maybe a peony.
