I used to think a bride had to wear a veil, as many brides seem to believe. In fact, a best friend of mine is planning her wedding and she was talking about this very fact recently. She is not crazy about veils, so she’s looking into another option – perhaps a feather, a fascinator, a pretty headband – the possibilities are endless! Sure, veils are traditional (and, I’m a huge fan of birdcage veils especially)… but required? Of course not. Nothing is required on your wedding day (except a big smile, of course). I must admit I’m pretty keen on the idea of the bride selecting what works best for her. And this tiny bow headband? In a word- lovely. (And, is it just me or does the model have a Carrie Bradshaw-esque fabness to her?)

P.S. There’s a killer real Engagement session being posted right here later this afternoon! Stay tuned, lovelies.

P.S. So, dear readers, what are your thoughts on veils? A must-have?
