Good morning! Before we get down to business…  how are you surviving Christmas week? I must admit, I had to make a quick run to the store yesterday (what was I thinking) and it was hustling and bustling with other last-minute shoppers. This year, I completed most of my shopping around Black Friday, but of course accomplished very little on the shopping front between then (when I got home and napped for three days) and now. I managed to get it all completed, though, so the rest of the week I won’t be amid the crazies out in the mall. I will, however, continue in holiday prep mode with an exuberant amount of wrapping, baking, cleaning, laundry-ing, movie-watching, and other activities that come along with the holiday season. ‘Tis the season!

So.. today we’re sharing some of my favorite satin finds.  Of all the materials in the world, satin may very well be my favorite. I love its luster,  softness, and shine. For my winter wedding, I selected deep red bridesmaid dresses in duchess satin. I wanted a fabric that wouldn’t wrinkle easily and would keep them semi-warm (well, as warm as you can get in the middle of winter). It was classy and elegant, and satin has stolen my heart ever since.

Speaking of stealing one’s heart, how about this gown?  In a word… stunning.

Now, every bride needs a pair of sexy heels.  We present these fab shoes at Parisxox by designer Arbie Goodfellow.  I especially love the blue heels with the detailing on the back.  What a gorgeous shade of blue!
