Today, we’re going to show you how to wear lace at your wedding – and, it’s more modern than you may think. We’re talking about the new face of lace. Lace – a delicate fabric of cotton or silk looped or knitted into pretty little patterns – has been synonymous with weddings for decades. In fact, if you take a peek at your mother or grandmother’s gown I’ll bet it was crafted using multiple layers of the delicate fabric. We have seen more brides opting for taffeta, chiffon, silk or satin gowns in lieu of lace; we thought it would be a fun idea to showcase some lacy accessories to incorporate into your look without overpowering it. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite handmade lace accessories which have been mixed pearls, rhinestones, ribbons, or other embellishments as accent pieces. This creates a layered, textured look that we LOVE… and we hope you will, too. Enjoy!
And, for a pair of handmade flats you’ll want to try on, we thought this positively perfect in lace. I want a pair. ♥
Love, love, love. Which one would you wear?
Happy Planning!
