The lovely Regina of Acute Designs, Featured Artisan in The Marketplace, has recently launched a new 2012 Bridal Collection and we love what we see! While Regina offers plenty of veil options for the bride, we are equally enamored with her collection of veil alternatives – or, as we like to call them, ‘skip the veil’ styles. Today, we’re sharing with you five of our hand-picked favorite skip the veil styles from her new collection. Many of these are versatile and can be worn as a sash, halo, or headband. Read on for more…
5 Skip the Veil Styles
1. Lace + Rhinestone Bridal Headband or Sash
This pretty ruffled white lace headband (above and below) can be worn in your hair or as a sash. Measures 15 inches and is completed with over 50 inches of pretty white velvet ribbon.
2. Blue Pearl Beaded Headband or Halo
This is the perfect skip the veil style for a bride who needs “something blue”. This pearl headband is attached to a pale dusty blue velvet ribbon for the perfect pop of color.
3. Vintage Rhinestone + Lace Bridal Tie Headband or Sash
Vintage brides: this is the skip the veil style for you! A gorgeous band of vintage crystal rhinestones (from the 1950s) combines with cream lace and is placed atop a cream velvet ribbon. Wear it as a headband or as a sash to accent your wedding gown.
4. Art Deco Bridal Tie Headband or Halo
5. Golden Pearls: Pearl Floral Bridal Headband
A pretty cluster of gold wire wrapped pearls forms into a floral bouquet and is attached to a thin gold plated headband. No-fuss with tons of elegance. It’s re-wearable, too!

Love! I skipped the veil, so naturally I’m all on board with this post! :D
Sweet and classy!
amazing photography! love the sweet details.
I had the pleasure of working with and ordering my headpiece from Acute Designs. I went for something a little more simplistic but she was able to coordinate the headpiece to match a photo of earrings I had sent to her.
