So, yesterday I mentioned I was going to flea markets to score some shabby chic furniture, tea cups and other items for an upcoming project I have planned. The problem is, I have specific items conjured up in my mind that I am having trouble finding exactly what I want. I’m learning that with treasure hunting patience is key and the most fun is in the hunting process. I ended up with nothing at all, but still had so much fun with my husband shopping, grabbing coffee, watching a movie and playing games. (By the way, have you ever played The Office Monopoly? It is seriously so much fun. I lost miserably but for a good portion of the game I held great properties like the Scranton Branch, Schrute Farms, and Poor Richard’s Bar. I even became the proud owner of ‘Serenity by Jan’ but had to mortgage it to cover expenses from Ryan’s famous cheesy pita fire…)
The treasure hunt today, though, was not a total loss. I did find one ridiculously cute treasure and I’m pleased as punch to share it! Check out these bride and groom cake toppers made of clay… so stinkin’ cute! The designer Anna Crafts does amazing work … look how each item is constructed with the same materials, yet each has such a distinct look. There are so many tiny details like the groom’s goatee, the bride’s hairstyle and veil, and my favorite part – check out the way the one bride is smiling and throwing her arms around him in a hug. Or, how the groom is carrying the bride over his shoulder while she’s giggling! With these cake toppers, you can almost imagine what the couple looks like in person. Beautiful work! ♥
Buy yours here.
I can’t wait for this week. A brand new giveaway launches plus ridiculous amounts of handcrafted goodness will ensue. Be ready, brides!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

These are great… These would be so much fun to use as props in a photoshoot with the real bride and groom!
Josh, What a great idea! It would be fun to see the two alongside each other. Isn’t it amazing how even though these are clay each looks unique, almost like you can imagine what the couple really looks like? She is genius! Thanks for stopping by. :)
