Happy Friday morning! Grab a cup of coffee because we’re about to kick your creativity’s you-know-what into ultra-high gear. If you’ve ever considered crafting a DIY wedding invitation, this post may nudge you in the right direction. Today, we’re sharing an incredible wedding invite (handmade by the bride!) with beautiful photographs captured by the always lovely Michelle Gardella Photography. When Michelle received Esther’s DIY wedding invitation in the mail, she was blown away. Not only did this crafty bride-to-be find time to handcraft this invitation, but she did it with utmost creativity and style! (Her fiance, Ho Kai, also helped. What a great groom!) Read on to see this oh-so-sweet invite and find out how to craft yours!
DIY Wedding Invitation
This wedding suite has it all: a soft, dreamy color palette, beautiful typography, kraft paper envelopes, twine, a printable suite by Something Modern, a custom return address stamp (by Foryoo), vintage stamps (from Treasurefox)… even custom stamps which featured their engagement shoot from Photo Stamps. Esther went above and beyond on the handmade details and we love the result.
How to DIY
Michelle did a wonderful job gathering up the resources for you to DIY these invitations (with your own personal spin on it, of course). Head over to her beautiful blog to get the full scoop! Thanks, Michelle, for sharing this DIY wedding invitation with our readers!
And, Esther, you’re a true inspiration! We don’t know many brides who would tackle such a large to-do and complete it with such brilliance. We love what you’ve created!
If you love Michelle’s photography, check out her website for even more eye candy! Michelle is a Preferred Photographer at Emmaline Bride in The Bridal Book. You can view her listing in Connecticut.
