Good morning, lovelies! First up, I’m curious… did you feel the earth move under your feet yesterday? I (Emma here!) did not but apparently an earthquake rolled through the north east area yesterday. Friends of mine felt the earthquake only thirty miles away! Earthquakes are quite uncommon in these parts so it was odd to hear about it all over the news. Stay safe out there! Today we’re kicking off our posts with 6 non-floral boutonnieres we think know you’ll love. Jenni from A Simple Start doesn’t make boutonnieres. She makes heirloom quality, the-cutest-little-things-you-ever-did-see boutonnieres. She also makes cake toppers, bouquets and more but today we’re sharing our favorite non-floral boutonnieres we know you’ll adore. Let’s begin with the first boutonniere named “Mossy Love” which sports the initials of the bride and the groom in the most rustic fashion. This boutonniere features a wood heart with imitation moss, a bit of ribbon (but not too much ribbon) and a pin to keep it securely in place.
This next boutonniere might be my favorite of the six. There are few boutonnieres in the world cuter than a kite. Just sayin’. This little felt kite has a jute tail with tiny little ribbons, which will look especially nice on a lapel.
Boutonniere number three is a heart on a string with a button to attach. Adorable. Did I mention it is a polka-dot heart? Double adorable.
Non-floral boutonnieres in number four are floral in style but made of soft fabric. These fabric rosette boutonnieres are attached to ribbon which can be coordinated with your decor.
Boutonniere number five is a button tree made of bendable brown branches, buttons, and a pin. This one in particular is so unique!
And last but not least is boutonniere number six appropriately named “Sweetheart flower”. It offers a shabby chic look with a pink felt fabric flower, one burlap leaf, lace, two imitation lambs ear leaves, an imitation pussy-willow branch and a pin. Beautiful!

More coming up soon!
