Our first real couple feature for this year is this beautiful and elegant Louisiana plantation wedding! These gorgeous and fun wedding photos were taken by Louisiana wedding photographer Aaron Hogan of Eye Wander Photo.
Aaron tells us, “For my very first time at Oak Alley Plantation to photograph a wedding, September 25, 2010 was certainly a wet one. The rain added a fine mist over the plantation grounds and also into the hair and clothes of everyone. Despite the rain up until literally an hour before the ceremony, Page and Jonathan Wyrick, the bride and groom, both residing in Lake Charles, LA, were married outdoors under the first row of giant live oaks near the plantation home. It was a dark ceremony but thank goodness the couple decided to see each other before the ceremony by doing the “first look.” This allowed us to capture the best photos of the couple and their wedding party and families together in the best light.”
