When planning your wedding, one of your first important tasks is to select a color palette. A proper color palette can provide your wedding’s tone and blend depth with texture throughout elements of your decor. We’ve found finding specific visual direction – like wedding tablescape inspiration – can be a challenge for some couples, so we’re here to help! Today, we’ve launched a brand new series (find it under ‘tablescapes‘ + bookmark it!) to help identify color palettes and give examples of how to cohesively blend colors throughout your event, particularly with wedding tablescape inspiration. The first tablescape we’re showcasing utilizes a perfect blend of purples and golds, with bright pops of fuchsia throughout. This Real Wedding tablescape example was beautifully captured by True Photography Weddings and styled by Adorations. What a beautiful collaboration! Read on to see more after the jump!
Wedding Tablescape Inspiration: Purple + Gold
For starters, take a peek at the place setting above. We love how it incorporates purples, grays, and fuchsia with a rose and a simple sprig of lavender. A large floral centerpiece, purple goblets, gold votives, and a simple purple and white table number, below, create a full – but comfortable – look.
Leave the chairs uncovered to allow their already natural beauty to shine. Plus, it gives the table the full attention it deserves!
The head table makes a statement with gold chandelier-styled centerpieces and crystal detailing. Lemons placed in the purple goblets tie in the color palette further, while the centerpieces coordinate with the other tables throughout the reception site.
What a gorgeous layout! This is one of our favorite wedding tablescapes yet!
This shoot was styled by LaVonne Crawford of Adorations.com. You can find more of her work here. The wedding coordinator was Crown Weddings.
Happy Planning!
