I’m sure anyone planning a wedding knows that you have certain venue constraints, so we had an a list and b list in terms of priority (it’s also easy to keep my fiancé and I’s emails in the same place) . Great so far.
You can then manually send out the invite to who you want to invite. Great, we did this.
They also have an rsvp function which reminds guests to rsvp. Also fantastic until you realise this goes out to EVERYONE you have written down on the guest list, even if you didn’t send them an initial invitation.
Now we have people RSVP’ing even though they never received an initial invite and we are over-capacity and cost. Pretty crappy customer service too saying this was basically my fault and I should remove everyone’s email if I didn’t want this.

I’m sorry but if you can manually manage a guest list and send out invites to specific people, it makes no sense RSVP’s would go out to people that didn’t receive an invite. Their emails also get sucked up in spam filters but I think that’s to be expected.
