Well, it’s official: winter is among us. And, while I like to pretend it will skip town and forget about coming out this year, I know it’s only a matter of time before it is 10 degrees below freezing and ice is literally EVERYWHERE. I’ll put on my best optimistic Emma hat instead and imagine the beauty that is the season of winter… like the way the sun reflects against the snowfall and appears even brighter, or the laughing + running involved as I chase my husband around throwing snowballs. Well, he usually gets me first. So I throw snow down his shirt. You get the drift; pun intended. Carrying on… Winter blesses you with things you would not normally find amazing, like hibernation. It gets dark at literally 4pm here, and I am still not getting over it. So instead of complaining about how it’s dark, and cold, and snowy, it instead allows me some “down time” inside, lounging around on the couch, watching movies, hanging Christmas ornaments, and wrapping presents. Last but not least, winter brings forth some of the most jaw-dropping, swoon-worthy fashion, wedding inspiration, and accessories. I wed in a winter wedding, so I’m biased, but when the snow fell that night as we made our exit from the church, it was simply beautiful. And, my fur (faux) stole make me perfectly comfy – and added a vintage, charming touch, if I do say so myself. So, the cold weather isn’t completely terrible. There is a little goodness in everything!
This bouquet is quite stunning. I spotted it here and to be honest I was a bit disappointed that it is the only item listed thus far; it is incredible and I know the artist is bound to have tons of more beautiful ideas up her sleeve. :) This winter white bouquet features vintage brooches (I love me some vintage brooch bouquets) and earrings from ivory to bright white. The metal is gold toned – perfect for the season.
More later, lovelies.

Hi Meg!
Abeardsley doesn’t make them at the moment (the shop is empty) but you can try our Marketplace to view other artisans who create beautiful brooch bouquets. Check out http://emmalinebride.com/marketplace/

Hi Mydia,
Unfortunately, it seems this brooch bouquet is no longer available. You may find plenty of gorgeous brooch bouquet vendors through The Marketplace at http://emmalinebride.com/marketplace with artisans happy to do a wedding package!
Hope it helps!

The bouquet is so elegant. Brooches instead of flowers is a novel idea!
My recent post Tips for Organizing A Summer Wedding
Wow, that is a work of art!
I love the brooch bouquets, they make a lovely keepsake!
I love winter white weddings! You {almost} make me wish for snow here too. I've been working on a bridal bouquet to coordinate with my silk fabric flowers that have vintage jewelry accents. I've been on the hunt for bunches of vintage pieces. So fun!
Very pretty, detailed and intricate. I love it.
