Hi, lovelies! The weather outside is frightful (it feels like 7 degrees here!) and here we have TONS of snow, so I thought it might be nice to highlight ten of our favorite handmade finds in Winter White. Here’s the first…
… isn’t this shrug gorgeous? It is made of tulle and satin with a sparkly silver blossom flower. I think it would be perfect for the bride-to-be, as well as a fun accessory for New Years Eve!
But, first… how is your weekend going so far? Are you joining in the hustle and bustle of last-minute holiday shopping or staying inside and baking cookies? This weekend I’m enjoying some relaxation, of course with a ton of last-minute Christmas prep mixed in. Wrapping presents, grabbing some last minute gifts and stocking stuffers, putting up more decorations around the house, watching my favorite Christmas movie and getting together with friends and family. I attended a family Christmas party this evening, and I always have so much fun catching up with everyone and playing games. The game we traditionally play is called ‘Left, Right, Center’. This is a great game if you’re looking for something everyone will enjoy and all ages can play. Everyone can enter the game with 3 quarters (or any other item you wish). You sit in a circle and take turns rolling these three dice and pass your quarters based on the roll. For example, if you roll L, R, and C, you pass one quarter to the left, one to the right, and one goes in the center cup. The winner is the person who ends up with the last quarter and rolls a ‘C’ for the center (at least, that’s how we play). We had a ton of people at the table – at least 15 or so – so the ‘pot’ of quarters is quite large at the end of the game. It’s tons of fun, and even if you think you’re out in the first few rounds you can still win at the very end. We were all so into it, yelling ‘RIGHT!’ ‘LEFT!’ – people got really into the game and it was quite a fun time. Highly recommended! So, the rest of the weekend will be preparing for the busy week ahead, which I love… but I have to say it, can you BELIEVE Christmas Eve is this week? I don’t know about you but it felt like December has literally flown by. Soon it will be New Years, and I’ll have to get in the swing of writing ‘2011’ (weird) on everything. I just got used to writing 2010. Ha!
Ok… on to the inspiration board! I hope you enjoy these lovely handmade items!

So, dear readers…
…what did you do this weekend? What are your last-minute plans for the upcoming holiday week? Which is your favorite ‘winter white’ item from the board? I adore #1 (though they are all incredibly lovely). I think it is such an elegant piece with tons of versatility!
Excited to share more with you from myself + the team this week!
