What a Wonderful Place: Your Wedding Day

Melissa and Anthony celebrated their day by first meeting at City Hall Park. Then they rode in stretched checker style cab to their ceremony at the Tribeca Rooftop. The beautiful flowers were designed by Flowerful Events. Their reception followed, with Anthony sweeping Melissa off her feet on the dance floor..

Chad & Jamie:
Their Wedding Day Story

We’re happy to feature the country wedding of Chad and Jamie. We thank featured photographer Kathryn Mayes, from Everyday You Photography based in Hays/Abilene, KS for the photographs.

Kathryn tells us,

“Chad and Jamie originally met during their high school years. Both were involved in high school rodeo, and although their parents wished they would date, they were always dating other people. Fast forward 10 years to Chad’s grandparent’s 65th wedding anniversary, where they reconnected at the celebration. They began talking, and when Jamie’s sister passed Chad Jamie’s phone number, they began dating. The rest, as they say, is history! Chad and Jamie are still actively involved with horses and enjoy team roping together.

Chad and Jamie were married on September 19th, 2009. They prepared for the big day at a friend’s ranch, which was also where their engagement photos were taken. The ceremony took place at the Prairie People’s Park on Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation in Mayetta, KS, and the reception was in Holton, KS. Jamie was very active in the preparations, even making her own jewelry. They incorporated their love of the western lifestyle into their wedding, and it fit them perfectly. The entire day was absolutely beautiful, and honestly, the day didn’t feel like a typical wedding – more like a joyful celebration. It was the most amazing environment for a wedding day!”
