This Yonkers mansion wedding was captured on film! Vanessa and Nathan’s wedding was last June at the Alder Manor Mansion in Yonkers, New York. Andrea and Doug from Yellow Hook Productions documented their wedding and tell us, “Vanessa (originally from Puerto Rico) and Nathan (from England) met in acting school and wanted their DIY wedding to have a touch of old-Hollywood charm. Hi, loves! Emma here. I love to peruse Real Weddings like the next girl, but one of my favorite things to do is identify real (aka practical) diy wedding ideas to try. A recent favorite do-it-yourself idea comes from a Camarillo wedding that exudes vintage flair. My favorite detail? The nail and string table numbers. This is such an easy idea to tackle yourself…

Fayetteville Fall Wedding: Blair + Jeremy

Posted May 13, 2014 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 3 Comments

This Fayetteville fall wedding was fantastic! Meet Blair and Jeremy. Their Arkansas wedding this past November was at a magnificent venue called The Garden Room. Their wedding has tons of rustic DIY details that are sure to get your handmade heart pumping! Look out for the fabulous details including the bouquet, boutonniere, hanging poms, invitations, and wedding cake. They even devised a great idea of having guests put money into either the bride or groom’s mason jar. The person’s jar with the most, wears the cake! It’s one of neatest ideas we’ve seen at Emmaline Bride. You’ll love their photos captured by Leah from Leah Marie Landers Photography. See them after the click…

Custom Wedding Stamps for the DIY Bride

Posted May 12, 2014 by EmmalineBride | ♥ Leave a Comment!

Hello, hello! It’s time for another Ask Emmaline question! Bride-to-be Allison is tackling some DIY projects, including her wedding invitations. She asks, “I purchased printable wedding invitations and I’m now putting together the response cards and envelopes. I need to include my return address on the envelope but I’m not very skilled with my computer and printer. Any advice?” The easiest way to add your return address to response card envelopes and other paper goods is with a return address stamp. Custom wedding stamps are designed for your event, incorporate your theme, and can be used in perpetuity. Plus, you don’t have to worry about using a computer or printer. And, unlike an address label (which we loathe for formal events), a stamp will look totally elegant and professional. To inspire you, we’ve rounded up some custom wedding stamps spotted over at Olive Berry Paper. Which one catches your eye?
