Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I’m not wishing any second of summer away (there’s so much left to enjoy — we’re really just getting started, tbh) but I get excited over sweaters, jeans, boots, scarves, cider (I buy it by the double gallon), donuts, and those fleeting moments of leaves falling from trees (and swirling through the air). There are few things as beautiful as fall, which is why we love fall wedding ideas so much! To inspire your upcoming day, we’ve rounded up the ten hottest fall wedding ideas on a budget. We’re sharing coffee bars, cardigans, sunflowers, hair accessories, and more. So, grab a cup of coffee (like this), snuggle under a blanket (or stand under the AC, whichever fits your mood at the moment) and read on to be inspired…
Fall Wedding Ideas on a Budget
On to the list!
10. Choose red convertible bridesmaid dresses
One of our favorites? A red bridesmaid dress from Coralie Beatrix! It boasts a pretty shade of red and can be worn a variety of ways. This bridesmaid dress is a great price and bridesmaids love the versatility of this piece. They’ll actually wear this convertible bridesmaid dress again — promise!
9. Wear a fall wedding crown
Want to skip the veil? Or switch into something different during the reception? Opt for a fall wedding crown instead, like this one we spotted at Roses and Lemons. It doesn’t cost a lot, yet it really maximizes your fall bridal look (especially for bridal shoots).
8. These fall accessories with bold pops of color
Dress up your gown (or bridesmaid dress) with a pop of fall-inspired hues, like this gold leaves dress sash from Davie and Chiyo…
… or deck out your navy heels in gold shoe clips…

7. These fall themed boutonnieres
One of my favorite fall wedding ideas on a budget is to choose a dried flower boutonniere instead of a fresh one. These last as a keepsake and look beautiful. See an entire collection at TheBlaithinBlairShop.
6. Wear a colorful cardigan
Fall is synonymous with brisk, cool weather… but that doesn’t mean the bride has to be left out in the cold! Choose a similar dress color so it blends right in, or add a pop of color to your wardrobe (+ stay warm!) with a cozy cardigan. This is one of my favorite fall wedding trends; who doesn’t love a cozy cardi?
5. Have a beautiful sunflower centerpiece or bouquet to carry
Fill vases with sunflowers or carry these harvest-inspired arrangements down the aisle. You can get beautiful dried bouquets here.
4. This pumpkin ring pillow
Skip the ordinary ring pillow and carry an alternative instead! We love this pretty pumpkin ring pillow made of grapevines.

3. Wedding centerpieces with candlelight
Deck out your tables with candlelight centerpieces for a romantic atmosphere.
2. Have a wedding coffee bar
Guests will love to warm up to a coffee (or tea) bar. Don’t forget the donuts for dunking! Read: 7 Things Your Coffee Bar Needs to Have.
… and… our favorite top ten fall wedding ideas on a budget is…
1. Wear boots instead of heels
The sweetest + comfiest idea to come to weddings since pockets in gowns! I love cowboys boots on brides! Cowboy boots cost about as much as a pair of comfortable wedding shoes, but you’ll wear them much more than heels. Money well spent, we say! You can find cute boots right here.
Happy Planning!
