Getting Ready Photos
1. The Bride Getting Ready.
First and foremost, you’ll want those classic shots of the bride getting ready. Hair, makeup – the works. Bridesmaids, too.
2. Candid Shots of Your Girls.
I don’t know about you, but something happens when girls get together the morning before a wedding. We make it a priority to have the most fun possible. It definitely unleashes our funny side… there’s just so much excitement and anticipation in the room!
3. The Dress.
An essential must-have wedding day photo: The Dress.
4. Bridesmaids Dresses on Personalized Hangers.
I love this idea! You’ll remember the bridesmaid dresses from the day along with personalized hangers of your girls. They look especially lovely if hanging on personalized hangers, like these!
5. The Groom Helping the Ring Bearer Get Ready.
This would be a great photo to capture while the groom helps the ring bearer put on his bow tie or tie his shoes.
6. Before the Dress.
8. The Bride.
You need a photo of the bride right before she leaves for the ceremony, looking in the mirror, standing with her mom, etc.
9. The Reaction.
The Reaction by the Bridal Party = always an amazing moment.
strong>11. The Groom and Groomsmen Getting Ready.
Ask your photographer to capture candids of the groomsmen hanging out and getting ready together.
12. The Flower Girl + Ring Bearer.
Must have! Get a snapshot of your flower girl(s) and ring bearer together.
13. Bride and Her Mom.
Be sure to capture the moment with your mom on film. It’s priceless.
14. Dad’s Reaction.
Make sure you keep a real keeper: a photo of the bride’s father reacting to seeing his daughter, the bride, for the first time.
16. Groom and His Mom.
17. Bridesmaids Spying on Guests as They Arrive.
And then all the regular wedding photos from here!
Which of these getting ready photo ideas is your favorite?
Happy Planning!
