This DIY barn wedding in Athens, Georgia was exciting! Annie and Jason’s September wedding was photographed by Melissa from Melissa Prosser Photography. Their barn wedding incorporated many handmade and DIY elements done by themselves, which Melissa captured in detail. Melissa tells us, “The tables were set up with beautiful white linens and wildflowers underneath pennant banners hung by the trees. Blankets were spread in the yard to encourage relaxation, and instead of just dancing, guests were encouraged to play bags! It really was a fun relaxed backyard wedding!” Check out the fun for yourself after the jump…

Those pie pops are fabulous!
What a lovely and refreshing wedding, sometimes you start to believe that everything has to be bigger, more decorated, more styled..and than a small, cute and relaxed wedding like this comes by. Just looks like it was a lovely, fun day for everyone!
