Every bride wants to look her very best on her wedding day. With proper planning, care, and maintenance, you can have the glowing skin you want ahead of the special day! Here are five beauty tips and products for the bride to try 3 months before the wedding with ample time to get that ready-ready glow.
Beauty Tips for Bride Before 3 Months
1. Hydrate!
You’re probably tired of hearing it, but drink plenty of water. According to Mayo Clinic, the ideal amount of water you should be drinking per day is, “about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) a day for women”.
If you’re not drinking more than 2 liters of water a day, you’re likely not getting enough hydration. And if you’re drinking coffee or alcohol, you’ll need to increase this amount of water to replenish what you’re losing from dehydration.
Two effective ways I’ve increased my water intake dramatically are by:
• Agreeing to a water challenge with my spouse, where we both attempt to drink the daily water requirement BEFORE the other person,
and
• Purchasing a new water bottle solely to fill up 4x daily to hit my water goals
Sometimes, all you need is a new bottle to increase your motivation! This bottle by Tervis has been helpful for me, as it fits in my car’s cupholder, has a loop to hook to my child’s jogger stroller, and holds a lot of water, yet has a slim long-line design that fits in my purse. Now I have no excuse to NOT fill it up and meet or exceed my daily water intake goals.
Proper hydration isn’t just good for overall health: it improves the look of your skin and its firmness. Drink water!
2. Add Nutrient-rich Matcha and Teas to Your Day.
Take hydration to the next level and add nutrients to it! You can get powerful antioxidants and increase your skin’s radiance by adding nutrient-rich matcha and tea to your life.
In addition, many people are turning to things like green tea or matcha to add to their water intake and increase their skin quality. One such product is Pique, which is 100% organic and provides EGCG to “firm and brighten skin”, promotes calm and balance (something we could all use!), and chlorophyll for skin clarity.
With their popular Radiant Skin Duo, they offer three tea products: daily radiance, sun goddess matcha, and hibiscus beauty elixir. These products are created to nourish skin from the inside out without any preservatives or refined sugars.
I haven’t tried it yet, but it is one I’m eager to add to my list. In recent months, I’ve decreased my caffeine intake and have been adding smoothies to my diet for nutrition; I can imagine how powerful these antioxidants must be for skincare, and can’t wait to put it as a part of my routine. The matcha looks delicious!

3. Make Exercise a Regular Habit.
To get glowing skin, you need to work your body and get that blood flowing throughout your body! In addition to its vast benefits, exercise is key to destressing you ahead of the wedding and will give you glowing skin on your wedding day.
Even going for a daily walk can improve your circulation and is a low-impact workout choice. It’s better to do something than nothing at all and gets the blood pumping — and those endorphins flowing! If you start taking a daily walk, you’ll quickly see how it can become a powerful daily habit in your life for better health.
4. Adopt a Solid Skincare Routine.
If you don’t yet have a solid skincare routine, adopt one now. It is one of the most important things to do beauty-wise at least 3 months before wedding day. Since you don’t want to try a new skincare regimen right before the big day (you could get breakouts, irritation, or redness — oh my!) 3 months is the perfect time to start. One of my favorites is this set by KORA Organics. It’s gentle, uses organic ingredients, and never makes my skin feel dry or irritated.
This is probably my favorite set.
I like their daily cleanser, the Vitamin C moisturizer, and I regularly use this turmeric mask at least once per week for exfoliation.
This eye cream makes my eyes look so bright and moisturized in the morning.
Your individual skincare needs may vary, but now is a great time to get started on a skincare routine that works for you: shop by skin concern here.
5. Get Plenty of Sleep!
And last but not least, get enough sleep every night. If you keep skimping on hours of zzz’s, your skin will look dull and tired, not giving it proper time to replenish and rest, restore your skin’s moisture, and contribute to its elasticity. You should aim for at least 8 solid hours of sleep per night.
And there you have it: easy tips to implement now for beautiful glowing skin 3 months before your wedding! And be sure to schedule a makeup consultation now: it’s best to get your wedding makeup trial scheduled as early as possible so you can tweak the style if you don’t like it with plenty of additional time to get it right.
