Don’t miss out on getting a photo with every guest at your wedding! Here’s how to get photos with everyone at your wedding in 3 minutes or less. Read on for the full scoop and subscribe for the latest to your inbox.
One of the biggest complaints couples have after the wedding is missing out on a photo with a particular guest or several guests. The night can go by in a flash: cocktail hour turns into dinner, toasts turn into dancing, and then boom, it’s time for the last song. You want to get pictures of every guest, but how do you do it without making the night all about group photos? Plus, there’s something so sweet about getting pictures WITH every guest at your wedding, and not just OF every guest. You want to be in the photos WITH them, right? Well, here’s an easy trick to do it and I hope every couple adds it to their wedding timeline. It takes less than 3 minutes to get photos of EVERY guest at your wedding. Yes, really!
It’s called a Photo Dash. Some call it a Table Dash. It is a fun, easy way to get photos with all wedding guests and I wish I knew of this concept when I got married!
Here’s how to do it.
How to Get a Photo With Every Guest at Your Wedding
1. Include a Photo Dash in your Wedding Timeline.
What is a photo dash? A photo dash or a table dash is when your DJ plays a 3-4 minute upbeat song before dancing officially begins. This will ensure guests are seated at their tables. You and your new spouse dash to each table during this time frame with your photographer (or someone who can take pictures for you) and capture one photo at each table within the timeframe.
This way, you’re able to get photos with every guest at your wedding BEFORE the dancing even starts!
► Add this to your wedding timeline.
2. Prove guests with a gallery link so everyone can download the photos.
Then, to make sure your guests can see their beautiful photos and save copies to keep forever, get LiveShare (it’s free, or you can upgrade for more features). It is a photo-sharing site that makes it incredibly easy to get all of the photos your guests took, including your own. Just upload them to the same gallery and, voila. Everyone has access to the link you provide and you can even live stream the photos on a screen at the wedding to see pictures as they happen in real-time. (How cool is that?)
And that’s it! Super easy, right? Now you have memories you can treasure forever!
You may have thought it was too time consuming to get photos of all of the guests who attend your wedding, but now you can see how easy it is to do. Make sure you add a photo dash or table dash to your wedding timeline and have your DJ play a fun, upbeat song which makes it even more exciting. Guests will be smiling and happy to be in photos with you as the newlyweds, which they’ll cherish and be able to have a copy of thanks to your gallery.
Love it!
