Recently, someone brought my attention to the pumpkin spice engagement ring.
The what?!
I mean, I know of some pretty incredible alternative rings… but PSL? No way is that a real thing.
Actually, there is such a thing as a pumpkin spice latte engagement ring and it’s not quite what you may imagine.
Now, this theory about pumpkin-spice everything has worked well for many companies. For one, there was a recent garbage bag company that introduced a pumpkin spice scented bag liner, which would make your kitchen smell like pumpkin patches and fall leaves, so everyone lost their minds over these $6.99 bags and then turned around and sold them on Amazon for triple the price. It is nuts!
So, there is something unique about the whole spiced pumpkin thing: it sells because it is beloved by many this time of year. My question is if you have a pumpkin spice engagement ring, do you want to wear it all year long? Do you swap it out for a chocolate heart-shaped ring during Valentine’s Day? Do you put it aside and wear a wildflower ring during the summer months? Or are you PSL lovin’ all year long?!
Anyway, this hot topic of a hot latte engagement ring came up during a convo with a friend of mine. She asks if I have seen the pumpkin spice latte engagement ring yet, to which I replied huh and had to look it up for myself. While we were speaking, I was envisioning a white gold coffee mug with a little poof of whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg diamonds, naturally. But no, that’s not quite what they have in mind for an engagement ring styled after the fall-favorite beverage. ;)
This is the first time we’ve ever seen an engagement ring themed after a beverage, but there is a first for everything! The pumpkin spice latte engagement ring is popular at Angelic Diamonds where this signature ring is flying off the virtual shelves. They’re calling it “love at first sip”.
Here’s a picture of the original pumpkin spice latte ring, which is available here only.
The inside of the band is engraved with “pumpkin spiced” so you know it’s the real deal.
The ring itself isn’t just colorful like a latte: it features rose gold and is “designed to replicate the shape of a pumpkin”. The white diamonds does exactly what I was picturing — it resembles that delicious dollop of whipped cream. The white diamonds, orange sapphires, and a sprinkling of emerald stones decorate the sides of the ring nicely.
Oh! And don’t worry… it seems as though they won’t be running out of PSL as quickly as your favorite coffee shop does. Instead, you can put in a custom order anytime you’d like — just makes sure you do it on time for the big proposal during the autumn months.
It’s sure to spice up the proposal, that’s for sure!
Okay, I get it! Now I finally understand what a pumpkin latte ring looks like. But what do you think? Would you wear a PSL engagement ring?
Happy Planning!
